Praise God!!! An Update!
Well, good afternoon everyone. I am popping into the library to check in with everyone, and I am so overwhelmed with the calls, and responses to my situation......Thank you all so much. You all mean the world to me and my family.
I just got back from the Prosecuting Attys office, and was able to GET ALL CHARGES DROPPED!!!!!!! I had to show just cause, and then of course pay the checks off. They dropped all the charges, so that made me a little bit more at ease with the situation. With me showing the police report, and the information that was sent to me from Maryland, they saw justification enough to drop the charges. Now, I just have to contact the other check holders about the events, and clear them up without having to deal with the bank. It will take a couple more weeks until that can be cleared up, but it will be happening soon enough. We won't be able to get our home phones back on for a few weeks, if not until next month. That is the hard thing to deal with, because I miss everyone on here! At least the house is fairly quiet right now......thank goodness for that! LOL
I just want to thank everyone again for all the help. I felt like such a failure last week when I posted everything, and even more so of one with everyone offering assistance. I just don't know where we would have been if it hadn't been for the prayers and caring people on here. It is still hard for me to grasp the whole events over the last week, and it all still seems like such a nightmare to me, but with the Grace of God, and all the prayers from everyone, we will eventually make it thru this trying time. Time to go and run a few more errands before I have to pick up the girls from school. Have a wonderful week, and God Bless each of you. I am working more hours now, so I may not be able to get online until next Monday, so I will be sending my updates thru LeeAnn and Michelle. Thanks again everyone for everything! I love you all!
