I didn't have good night sleeping, I thought I would start the thread this morning. It is beautiful outdoors right now.                                                    
I want to thank everyone for keeping my dear friend Phil in their prayers. The doctors are doing some tests and we are waiting for results. And for keeping me in your prayers too. I am very grateful for your support.

Hello all! How are you doing? Today's a pretty good day here, I think. It's Friday. End of the work week. I get a two day reprieve from VR.

I'm excited. I posted on freecycle, about not having any Christmas tree left over after the flood. Someone is giving me a free tree tomorrow morning. That's cool. Anything I don't have to spend means better for us, since money's tight.

I am still maintaining within a couple pounds of 145 every day. That's pretty exciting. It's been 3 months. I still haven't heard back from Dr. Grassee to see if the plastics were approved. Even if they are, I'm sure I can't afford to do more than what the insurance would pay for. So I'm not getting my hopes up too high on this.

We redid the ornaments on our tree last year and I think we kept the old ones.  It was done in a maroonish red.  Do you need ornaments?  I'll be getting our christmas stuff out soon so if I still have them, they're yours if you want.

Good morning everyone!

I enjoyed getting together with Shanna and Jacque & Troy for lunch yesterday. I'm sorry that I couldn't have spent more time with you guys. Darn work! LOL! I hope you enjoyed the rest of your day off Shanna and I hope that you guys had a safe trip home Jacque. I know the rest of my 'workday' flew by! I usually have lunch ~11 or 12. When I got back to work ~2-ish...that left less than 2 hours so boy was it quick!

Gail...I hope that Phil's doctors have some good news very soon. I'll give you a call ~10:30.

Floyd & Brenda..wow...it's scary how much Floyd & I can think alike, huh? Haha!! See you guys in the morning!

Linda...you might want to give Dr. Grassee's office a call & see if they've heard anything. It didn't take long at all for them to get a response from my insurance.

I have my appointment with Dr. Wittle's at 11:30. Provided he doesn't have me do any tests this afternoon, I'll be heading to Lucas Oil Sadium after that. Work is having a special 'team building' day there today. It starts at 9 with breakfast & team building activities. I'm hoping to be there while lunch is still going on so I can catch the team leaders presentations & the tour. The tour is what I really want..lol. I am not a football fan so I doubt I will have many opportunities to see our restaurant tax dollars at work (those outside of Marion county: They raised the tax on restaurants here to help pay for the stadium. Since Bill & I eat out alot, I think it's only fair to be able to see where that money is going).

You all have a terrific day...and oh, don't forget to get your flu shot! I got mine yesterday!

Usually end of the week.  Get the day at work over with and then get started on preparation for another Kairos outreach starting Thursday.  I am going into Pendleton Correctional Facility then  It is the max security facility.  Please keep the team in your prayers.

Morning Everyone,
 I am heading to Indy to see my dietician- hopefully! I tried for months to set up a time & it took Dr. Inman's office calling them to get one! I am really getting frustrated with them!!! i have 3 yrs. out now, and need some guidance with my IBS issues and fiood. Hopefully it will go ok.I'm then meeting Shanna for lunch & Julie for coffee later- woo-hoo- Sister time!!!!!!
Linda- do you need anything else- I have tons of decorations, around here. Let me know.

Gail sweety, I hold Phil in prayer and you, too. It is never easy to see our loved ones going thru illness & trial, but God has a plan & purpose for our lives- remember, God loves Phil more than anything!Hang in there lil Sis, I'll be calling you soon.

Hope everyone enjoys the sunshine- it sounds like cooler days are coming! I for one am not looking forward to them!
 
My grandson's 14th birthday is Sunday, so going to get him a gift card at Dick's so he can get new basketball shoes. He loves sports & is pretty good at it. 

Sherri- Here's hoping Dr.Whittle has some answers!Call me when you can & enjoy your tour!!!

Im working on cleaning up the rest of the house today.
I got bad news from Indy yesterday my aunt Joyce who is like a mother to me is getting worse,she needs a liver transplant but is to ill to be put on the list ,her  daughter let me know that she may of had a stroke she is 63 i think...So we will be coming up your way soon..Im afraid ill get beat up cause some of her kids take advantage of her and my big mouth would let them know how i feel about it..
E-I think what you do is great and having had family behind bars i know that what you do is not in vain they do listen and it does touch them and it has turned a few of them around.So thank you very much.

Boy yesterday was just a blur.  It always is when I do an Indy trip in one day.  Eight hours on the road is no fun.  It was much better yesterday though because I had my sweetie with me.  We got to talk about anything we wanted because we didn't have "little ears" around.  It was nice.

I loved seeing Sherri and Shana.  My lunch was killer too!  Mmmmm....  I just wish we could've spent more time together.  Troy has a horrible cold and was a little grumpy yesterday.  I offered to drive but he said no way.  I didn't get to spend nearly the time I wanted in Meijer either.  I bought some tinker toys though!  Luci is seven but I think she'll get a kick out of playing with toys that we played with when we were little.  We're saving them for Christmas.

Gail, I love you sweetie and wish I could've seen you too.  I understand though and am praying for you.  You just can't seem to get a break.  I'll get to hug that beautiful neck someday soon.

Good Friday Morning......
Wow did I have an awesome time with Jacque, Troy and Sherri yesterday. Today I am having Lunch w/ Miss. Ellen...tee hee. I am going to start missing support group now because of the extra week last month I now work nights that week so Until december comes and that extra week comes back around or I have that day off, by chance.
I just got back from my pt and the gym. whew...lower body today but I tll you my arms are feeling it, too. ( man did I work up a stink, too) NO PAIN NO GAIN RIGHt!
Tonight Plainfield plays Zionsville...I have to work but I can listen to it online.
Terry leaves tommorrow for his Uncles Memorial service in San Fran. area, he will be gone until wednesday. ( I have the kids all by myself for 5 days......insert teeth chattering)
I started my Christmas shopping officially yesterday..I picked up a few things after my lunch w/ my Pals :)
 I need to hop in ther shower aqnd get ready for lunch w/ Ellen and then straight to work after that. I hope everyone is having a great friday and will have a great weekend.....
