Just not to high! I went in on holloween and that was very interesting! The walk back to the surgery room was just plian weird! But I would'nt want to lift my big but either.
My Surgery lasted 2.5 hrs they could'nt get the staples to hold . So extra time seems to be extra pain!
I had to stay a couple of extra day's for pain and gas not passing but that was fine with me.
Everyone was awesome up there. Just plain Awesome.
Well I will be back later I'm a little tired right now but wanted to let you all know I'm back.

Thank You All! Thing's are going great ! Yes I hurt moving sucks at times but walking does help!
I would start walking in the morning b4 my pain meds cause I had to wait on them. And by the time I get halfway around the muscles relax and the pain to where it was more tolerable.
So when they say to walk there is a BIG BIG reason for it!

glad to see you  home Ric!  I have to agree walking saved me since I'm allergic to liquid lortab and got darvocet stuck in my throat in the hospital.. they had a hard time finding a pain medicine for me...Childrern's motrin and walking was my pain control!

Rick!!!!  I'm so glad you are home.  Mine took some extra time too but it was due to some other surgeries that I had in the past that complicated it a bit.  All is well now.  So I am sure you will be doing just great soon as well.

Good Luck with adjusting to things and stay in touch.
