drinking the night after your surgery

do they let you drink the night after your surgery and let you take pills?

Drinking yes....they have you sipping pretty soon right after surgery......pills...not with my Dr.  Vitamins start the next day and are chewable.....pain meds are liquid!!!!  hope this helps!!!!

Dr C is also our Doc and we started back on meds the day after surgery. They were split but we were put back on some. Some were changed, others done away with but we did unfortunately have to have some. Pain med was a liquid (yuk!) but it worked!!
