Newbie Food Issues
I'm not hungry per say, just already bored with my options. I did a BIG no no, and had a 1/4 cup of chicken broth with two crushed up saltines in it. It was sooooooo good, but afterwards, I felt like I might be getting the onset of dumping syndrome, and had to lay down with the fan on.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Options?
Thanks so much,
Jenn
Be happy 2 ounces is all you can eat. Work the plan it is successful for most everyone that works at it.
Get over being bored with the few choices. Glad your body wanted to dump it keeps you on track. CARBS make you hungry STOP using crackers.
Get your water and protein in.
I am NOT scolding you just trying to hold you to the plan that will help you stay the course.

2 Chronicles 16:9
For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou has done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.
I did try splenda and cinnamon on oatmeal (my first time trying oatmeal btw.), it was ok, but not one of my favorites.
I guess I'm just going through a lot of emotional issues with my attachments to food. I knew going into this, it would be hard, but knowing and then it becoming reality were two totally different things. I'm such a picky eater, I'm just afraid I'm going to fail at this.
I'll pray that recipe works for you. I may just have to force myself to try the dry milk, or lose all of my hair... anywho... I wish you luck girlie!
She's right, the "super milk" really gives you a protein boost and it's not bad. I didn't think I'd like it either, but I did. You might also try the Click that is advertised on OH. I make it with 1% milk and microwave it and it tastes like coffee/hot chocolate and is a great boost of protein. I have that just about every morning for breakfast. It's a little pricey, but cheaper than going to Starbuck's for a skinny latte every morning like I was doing before.
Cream of Wheat is also a good option at your stage. I ate a lot of scrambled eggs, too. It gets better, believe me! Hang in there.
