Didn't get the job..Grrrrrr....

Well I found out this morning that I didn't get the job I had been interviewed for. It really ticks me off too because I've been doing both jobs (mine and it) since they asked the former Executive Director to leave. Of course the excuse was that they can't afford me. What a crock!

Thanks for supporting me though Gals. You guys are the best! I don't know what I'd do without you.

Oh, and my surgiversary was Sunday! Happy Surgiversary to me!

I am sorry jacqui, I sure understand. I have been looking for work for a month now and the closest thing I have found is a temp job working at FedEx for the hoiday's. I have some education and great references so its super frustrating. I applied at the American Legion for a waitress job since it was close to home. I didnt hear anything from them for a few days so I called to check on my application and was told that they had accepted over 100 applications for the job and was still trying to sort through them! Times are hard so even though I know your frustrated try to remember it could be so much worse. Keep your chin up.

Just wanted to say I am so sorry that you didn't get the job. Hang in there! Hopefully something better will come along. I have been applying at places for a couple of months and I have had 2 interviews. I applied for 3 jobs at a place I use to work for and still have not heard anything. I work for a Real Estate Company and things are really slow right now and really scary. I applied to be a lunch lady with my children's school and I would love to have that job so I would be off when they are. My only concern with it is that is less pay then I make now but would save me $700 a month in the summer because I wouldn't need daycare. Good luck!

So sorry you didn't get the job. It really stinks when you know you can do and have done the job. I've applied for several higher ones here and get nada. But I figure I'm where God wants me to be at this time so I wait.
