Good morning! How are you all? I'm doing pretty good. Tonight is my dentist appointment to get those three cavities filled. I dread dental appointments. I just get so nervous. I think I'm going to take a xanax before going in! I have them from my doctor for anxiety, but rarely, ever, take them. I have used that med maybe 4 times this year. I took advice though about my teeth, and got some of that ACT Restoring Mouthwash, to try, and I went back to chewable calcium. I had just been taking tablets. I figured they were fine, because I wasn't seeing them "on the other side". But I'll do whatever I can to protect my teeth. I don't want to end up with false teeth in my thirties. My poor mom did. She had Crohn's disease, and couldn't get enough calcium.

Yesterday at work at VR, my supervisor sent out an official announcement via email, saying I am not switching counties!!! Hip Hip Hooray! That is such a relief on me. I am just still really proud over how I handled the situation. It's amazing to me how so much more than my body has changed over the last two years. I am just a more confidant person overall. Generally happier too.

I got a cell phone last night. Whee! When Mike started subbing, we got him one, because otherwise it would be impossible to get ahold of him during the day, since I have no desire to memorize all the school's phone numbers. Yesterday we had an incident. Mikey got sick and threw up at school. They tried to call me, but I was at lunch. So they called Mike, and he had to leave an assignment for the day. D'oh. The staffing service was really nice, but I bet they won't be if that happens too often. So we decided I need one too. We went and added a line onto Mike's service. I'm excited. I have missed having one.

Have a great day all!

Morning Linda,

I hate having to go to the dentist.  We had an awful one when I was a kid.  He didn't believe in novocaine.  I remember them having to literally drag me in to his office and hold me in the chair while the dentist worked on my teeth.

Isn't it amazing how the surgery did give us self confidence and we feel so much better about ourselves.   We, or at least I, viewed my self in a better light than before.  I don't want to go back to that place.

I don't know what I'd do without my cell phone.  Isn't it funny that a few years ago, hardly anyone had them, now we can't imagine life without them.  I got mine for emergencies several years ago but never turned it on unless I was making a call.  My son would razz me "mom it works both ways you know, I can call you too."

Have a great day.

Good morning, Linda! Congrats on getting a new cell phone! I swear I have mine attached to me at the hip or fingertips! I am so lost without one! LOL  At least you will have it for emergencies! That is when they really are the best!
I am going to the dentist this morning too, so I will go thru everything first and take away your fear for you.  I have never had trouble going to the dentist......I would just forget about doing it.  I guess I really should take better care of my teeth, but for some reason, it has never been high on my priority list.  I will change that now tho!  Have a wonderful day and take care!

Good morning Linda. I can totally relate to a fear of the dentist. Actually just ound myself a new dentist who promises to put me out if I ever have to have anything more than a cleaning done. AND he set me up with who he says is his most gentle hygeienist. Gotta love that.

Congrats on the cell phone too. Can't live without mine, especially with kids in school!
