Can anyone give me any suggestions of thing's that have made there life easier After Surgery!
I was told by my soon to be Ex-wife that she had bought little tupperware bowls to put her food in, And I have heard about Ice Cube trays for popsicles. I've also thought of buying post-it notes for remembering to take my Vit,Walking, eating! Just reminders of does and dont's to post around the house and probably the car.
So if I could get Suggestions from anyone on what has made there life easier I would Appreciate it.
Thanks Rick

Hi,
The one thing I suggest is a big pill box reminder....the best one I have found was suggested by one of the girls on the LW board and we love ours. It is a S-S one that has 4 slots per day. You can take each day out to take with you and it has a lid that closes to keep it intact.

You will find this one at Target...About $8. The best one we have found compared to Walmart, Walgreens & CVS

Hope this helps.

Connie

My best purchase was an ice shaver.  Easy way to get in liquids and makes my favorite protein drink taste like a slush from DQ.

My best tip is put away your dinner plates and serve dinner on salad plates.

I can eat as much as I want...I just don't want much.
I'm ashamed of what I did for a Klondike bar...

measuring cups and measuring spoons, a baby spoon to eat with comes in quite handy, I still use mine.  A sprots bottle for your water.  You may want to think about tongs or something else to help you reach back to wipe with (gross I know ) but I wasn't prepared and wish I would have been.  I was so sore I couldnt reach back there and had to have hubby's help.

A pocket Journal (notebook) to write down times when you do things might help.. you can carry it with you to keep track.. If your as busy as some. I know it helped Melissa to keep track... and my husband kept track for me... he is the list person...

Melissa has this large tupperware glass with a lid with a pour spout she carries with her everywhere with her protien drink in it. She brings it to my house every time and I know she carries it with her when she goes out.. she has a neat insulated carrier to help keep it cold too.

Personally just keeping something with you at all times to remember to sip sip sip will help because you don't dare get dehydrated....

Good luck and it is great to see you are getting your head wrapped around this decision...

I have a small "Magic Bullet" style mixer, and I used it quite often to make my protein shakes, and to puree my foods into liquids while I was still newly out. I got a cheap one at Walmart on clearance, and it works just perfecly! Good luck!
At Goal! 165 pounds gone forever! Thank you Lord!
