Saturday Morning
Didn't see a thread for Saturday so thought I'd start. Not much planned for today. Going to the women's bible study at church this morning. Since I'm up so early probably a nap later on. I'm going to try my hand a potato cheese soup for dinner. My DIL has been craving it and asked me if I would try and make her some. We went out for dinner a couple of times last week and where she used to get her soup was either out, or not being made until winter.
Did get some good news yesterday. My SIL who was in IU was well enough to be transferred back to Monticello Healthcare. So she is only 5 minutes away for her family instead of the two hour drive. I just hope she stays stable and doesn't have to be transported back to IU anytime soon.
Gail, so sorry for what your family is going through with your BIL. Will pray for them.
Karen, sounds like thing are going well with the new fellow. I do hope you enjoy the weekend and your time together.
Sherri, take it easy and have fun this weekend. You have been doing a lot for people this week what with Bill's surgery and your MIL's, AND packing and moving the lab. You need to take some me time and regroup.
May everyone have a wonderful, safe, blessed weekend.

Good morning everyone!
I decided to shut the alarm off this morning. Shoot..my day off, I'm gonna go in when I'm ready to go in! lol! Yes, LaChelle..it is good to have flexible hours. I am in a department to where there are no strict time restraints in getting stuff done. When I was in an analytical lab (in Clinton), production depended on getting quick reliable numbers from the lab. It was a very high-stress area to work in! Depending on what was involved in the assay, it had to be back within 10 minutes..or 2 hours. The 2 hours was something that is anything went wrong, it could take 6 hours to fix it. I'm glad to be out of that stressful environment! Now...I get a project and IF it works, then we may or may not plan a larger scale trial of it to see how it'd do in production. There's alot of IF's to it. Shoot..just to start a project has 'IF's'...IF I can get the materials I need. IF my instruments work ok. IF the CPU's behave. So..if all the things line up good, we just may stay 16 hours to be able to get our stuff going (or 16 to try to get through the problems!). Because of that, no one cares if we decide to take off early either.
I left a little early yesterday. I was exhausted! I don't have that much to do to finish up our old lab's drawers. I have a few carts of things to bring down to the new lab too so my pedometer is gonna get some high numbers today! Hmm...I need to grab my MP3! lol! I plan to take tomorrow off. I just hope my boss doesn't stress out as soon as he comes in Monday. There really isn't as much that needs done as it looks like I don't think. Since I've gone through the drawers, the rest ought to go pretty quick since it's right there out in the open and at eye level.
After I got home, we went and saw Jean. She had taken some pain meds a little bit before we got there so she was kinda loopy. They brought her dinner tray in & I fed her some of it....when we could keep her awake long enough to eat it. We tried to get her to talk some in-between bites to wake her up. No..nothing made any sence. Well..in percocet-land, I'm sure it did. lol.
Bill's vision is starting to clear up a little more. If it goes as usual, it'll get a little better each day.
Well..time to hit the shower & get this tired butt in gear....Julie...tomorrow will be 'me' time! lol!

Good morning Julie, and the others later. Hope everyone is well today. Have a great weekend. I have to leave for work in a little bit. It's ok. I have the next 4 days off, after today, and those days are going to be just as busy as can be! It's all good tho!
Have a wonderful weekend. Please think of those that are walking with us tomorrow. We need your prayers as well. Praying hard for everyone.
Please say a special prayer for me today. I have a meeting with my boss today. It is in regards to Jimmy getting his job back at the casino! It is a very good chance that he will possibly be able to be rehired soon, but there are a few details that we have to discuss. Please pray that I have the strength and courage to talk to him. Also, please pray that my boss does have a bit of compassion in his heart, and does understand the urgency of our plea. Please pray for Jimmy as well, for patience while I am in the meeting! It wsa so hard on him yesterday, although I did get to speak breifly with him yesterday, we have to have a real meeting off the floor for anything to be truly discussed. Keep your fingers crossed!
Gotta hop in the shower and get on the go! I am closing my Tastefully Simple party this evening, so if you haven't placed and order, and would like to, please feel free to!

Hi Everyone,
I am getting ready to head back to Penny's house- she has a Purse Party to do today & I am helping with the grandkids. She is still in alot of pain & I'll be helping do several of her parties next month- me- a salesperson again-woo~hoo!!! I know she needs the sales and the little income she gets. She was told "NO short term disibility/paycheck" while she is off the 6-8 weeks- so naturally is very worried. That is one of the drawbacks of working for a smaller law firm. We'll help them as much as we can, with our limited income. Seems like tough times are all around- so we all have to cling to our Father God's hand even more!!!
Julie- thanks for the note & the offer! I will be calling you- if nothing else to meet me at the McD's while the kids play- coffee & chat!!! See you the 7th! So glad your SIL is doing well enough to go back to Montecello!!!!! I know it will be easier on your family. Oh, cheesy potato soup sounds wonderful-yummo!
Sherri- DON"T overdo it girl!!! I worry you are gonna flair up your belly with all of this lugging, carting, etc. Glad to hear Bill is doing alittle better everyday. The drugs do make you loopy but hopefully Jean will feel better soon- praying for you all.
LaChelle- I hope your conferance goes well, & Jimmy has a job soon that he likes & can handle.
Off I go- have a great, blessed day everyone. Remember no matter what we go thru God is right there with us! Blessings & prayers to all.

Good morning to all my fellow Hoosier's Losers. I hope that this Saturday is being good to everyone.
Nothing new here with me. Just the same old stuff just a different day. This is Bill's first day home for 9 days. So far so good. Later on in the week when he starts to get antsy because he is missing the activity of work it ends up either being I am going to shoot either myself or him. It is a toss up as to who goes but it is a matter of my sanity. If I got a woman judge she wouldn't convict me that is for sure. I just have to make sure my lawyer gets a all woman jury. :-)
Shawn is coming over sometime this afternoon. He told Bill he was coming and then later on Bill told him that I made stuffed peppers and he told Bill to make sure to save him some. There isn't a lot left but enough for him. He already put in the order for next week ends menu. He wants me to make chili. I didn't tell him that I was going to make it anyway so I just told him alright. What he doesn't know isn't going to hurt him, right?
I guess I had better get this bee hind moving. I am sending love and hugs to all and prayers are going up for everyone too. Special ones for those in need of them. I am so glad that God knows the needs. He is just such an amazing and awesome God. He just takes wonderful care of all His children. I am so grateful to Him for all that he does for me and all He will continue to do for me. Have a wonderful and blessed day and keep a smile on your faces.
