Okay, so I talked with the nurse today.  I broke down and called this afternoon b/c I still can't eat b/c my pouch is SORE.   I go in Tuesday for a endoscopy.  They think I have an ulcer.  So, if I have one....what are they going to do about it?  I take Cymbalta for my Fibro pain and it almost killed me yesterday it hurt so bad.  Now, I still can't eat today.  I can drink but it still feels funny.  I'm glad to have the scope to see what is going on....I have had one before and it 's not a big deal.  BUT---I don't know what they are going to do for me if I have an ulcer???  I already take the carafate and aciphex.

I don't know what they would do either, since you're already on ulcer meds. I had one that I didn't know about, and this summer it perforated. I needed emergency surgery to correct it. So it's a good thing you're aware, and being cared for.

Well I had my third scope yesterday because my "hole" keept closing up on me, and during this third scope they found an ulcer.  They just put be on cafetrate again ( they did after my first scope).  So I am not sure what else they do.  They were down there when they noticed it so its not like they do anything during the scope.

Enjoy your afternoon though, the drugs they give you will make you have the best afternoon nap ever!!!!
