I hate this!!
You would be crazy NOT to second guess yourself. We've all been in your shoes and scared to death right up until the minute we went under. I thought I was 100% ready and prepared for anything the surgery threw at me
Some days I wonder what the heck I was thinking. Then I take a deep breathe and Thank GOD for today. It's another day I woke up, the stairs at work don't hurt to go up and down now, the knees don't hurt anymore, I HAVE ENERGY, no more meds...you'll see the good DOES outweight the bad. The man thing to remember some of us on the board have been there, done it, got the T-shirt and are ready, willing and able to walk through this with you. Keep your head up - it will work out for you!

Hi!
As someone just home from the hospital today, I can honestly say that I am so glad my husband and I have had our surgery!!!!!
We have not been sick and just minor soreness. I am sure that there will be tough times but we got through the surgery so much easier that I had thought..
There were people that had surgery who were in a lot of pain and my heart went out to them!
It was worth it just for what happened upon our release---the doctor has already taken Joe off of his two insulin injections!!!!! Now if he can get the pills gone it will be great!!! I also had 3 medications taken away!!!
So whatever you do, think of the benefits...I think they out weigh the bad....Good luck with your decision!

As the time draws closer I've been 2nd geussing My decision on having surgery. I'm sure a lot of you have done/ or doing the same. But I had to do something as simple this morning as take the pool pump out and put it up for the winter. It was only 2 lines to loosen and pull it out from under my deck. Simple huh! NOT! I got down easy but getting up sucked. Then I spilled something on the floor and had to wipe it up . SUCKED!!!! I'm so ready to get this weight off I really do hate it. It's scary to think about eating right afterwards to keep from puking or whatever.
But I do see this as a 2nd chance to eat right and watch my portions so that when I'm able to eat more later in life I keep my weight off!
I't just nerve racking waiting for the 31st to get her it's so close but yet it seems to take so long.
I guess this is kind of like ranting huh! Venting!!!
And just feeling comfortable with myself again to be able to get my life back.
Just getting out in public again and feeling good about myself.
So I Thank you. I'm sure I will have more issues before it's all said and done.
