I AM STARTING THE BUSY TIME OF YEAR AT WORK WITH OPEN ENROLMENT AND ALL. I KNOW I DONT POST NEARLY ENOUGH BUT I T4Y AND READ A LITTLE EACH DAY. LIFE HAS BEEN A BIT ROUGH AS OF LATE. AND THE GIFT CARD MY ELF SENT HIT ON A PERFECT DAY FOR ME. I WENT AND HAD A SALAD AND WATER JUST FOR ME AND LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT. SO THANK YOU ELF.
 BEEN ON A BIT OF A STALL LATELY SO GOING BACK TO TBE BASICS FOR A WEEK OR 2. I ONLY HAVE ABOUT 15 OR SO I WANT TO LOSE AND THEN ITS PLASTICS TIME. I SO CANT WAIT. THIS FLABBY SKIN IS DRIVING ME NUTS( NOT A FAR DRIVE HUH JESS, LOL )

Hello everyone.  It is going to be a busy day today.  I am going with Maria and Darin to help them house hunt today.  They are only in the cabins at Patoka Lake for one more day before their insurance will not pay anymore. 

Not much of anything else planned for today.  I had a great party last night, with a couple parties booked off of mine too!  Those products are so yummy, and we are able to eat just about everything offered.  Well worth the time and effort put into the party!  We all had a blast!  I won't be closing my party until Saturday, so if anyone else would like to grab anything, feel free to do so!  Thanks!

Well, today is the last day of my 37th year! LOL Not that my birthdays mean too much to me, but this year has changed my outlook on life!  I have been given a second chance to live again, and I am so thankful to be able to live it with my family and all of my wonderful friends on here!  You all have inspired me to be a better person, and live again! I am doing just that!  Thank you all!

Gotta get up and working around the house, so have a great day all! It's going to be a great one!

I agree its cold.................
I couldnt beleive it when people said after surgery they were cold,well i beleive it now i cant get warm im hunting socks and jackets and still cold..
My dh says its good snuggle weather..right
Well LaChelle i hope your friends find a house fast and enjoy your last day of your 37th yr.
Im clipping coupons and cleaning my closet today..

It is very cold out there this morning.
I am sitting here waiting to go meet with my old boss to talk about this possible new job.  Keep your fingers crossed and keep me in your prayers.  I need this job to be somewhat close to the salary I am getting now.  The scary thing is that most of it is commission and that amount isnt set in stone.  But when I worked there before I was a pretty agressive collector and I really think I can do it.
I just hope I am making the right decision.  I know I am for my family and that is really all that matters. But, they have to be able to survive to and if this income is too low then I cant switch. 
I had to go borrow clothes from my mom to interview in...lol
I told her, its been a loooooong time since I have gotten into your clothes.  Size 8 dress pants and they are baggy. I could have wore a 6 in them. I was stoked!
Well wish me luck and I will let you all know when I get back here to work how it went.

Good morning all!

Bill's in the shower so I'm trying to do a little catching up online. His surgery is at 11:30. His mom's is at 12:30 so we're not going to be able to be there when they take her in.  The way Dr. Price is with eye surgeries, Jean will probably be wide awake by the time they get Bill's surgery done & we get there. The last surgery was suppose to be at 9 AM...they took him into surgery ~2:30! We have to stop by here before we go to the hospital though. I told her the other night that I would had brought her some sf banana pudding if we knew if she could have it or not. So she asked! LOL! I have some in a container for her. She's a diabetic so it'll be a good alternative to the hospital's tapioca pudding..lol.

I've 'only' gotten 2 calls from work so far this morning. Since our boss is out of town, I'm trying to take care of things for him. I think I have almost everything on his list at least started..so that's a good thing.

I had a pretty good visit with Gail after work yesterday. I think you're looking very good hon! Definately getting around better than you did at my last visit! I think Clark is starting to warm up to me some...lol!

You all have a good day today. While Bill is in surgery, I'm going to try to get hold of my GI's nurse to see if hopefully they have something planned next to determine what is going on with me. Other than that, I'll be getting a little further in my Stephen King book.....

Hope everyone is doing well today! My sons b-day is today! Not a whole lot planned, as he received his BIG present when he and my hubby went to the BEARS/Colts game, so just a small gift-MP3 player and a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Anyway,

Sherri, I am thinking of you and Bill today and hoping for a agreat outcome for him, as well as his mom!

Thinking of those havng surgeries and starting their new journies! Congrats and keep up your spirits. Know that we are all thinking of you and wishing you the best!

Gail, Glad to hear that you are getting around better! What did you hear from the doc, get your drains removed? Hope you are feeling good today! As far as your special man, I hope that he offers you as much love as you can offer him! What an amazing relationship you would have- so full of love! you are a keeper, and when you find him, well you will be very deserving of this special bond! Good luck, keep your eyes and heart open, he's out there! Love ya!

Hi Everyone,
 Going to be a busy day here. Penny's surgery is at 1 so heading down there at 11;30-plus gotta check on the twins . Then tonight off to my exercise with my trainer- I don't see much differance at the scale but do in the way I feel. Stronger & healthier- with my 60th birthday coming up that is important to me!!!60 is the NEW 40-wheres my RED HEELS??!!!hee~hee!!!!

I had a surprise visitor last night- I was getting ready to leave for our Psi Iotes meeting and a old friend who I hadn't seen since her son's funeral in May came by to say hello. She really needed someone to vent/listen/and let her feelings out safely with. She has a hard time grieving and I think it did her good to just talk.I had told her before anytime she wanted to stop by to do so. We had a few laughs & a few tears- always healing for the soul. She has alot of hard things in her life & gone thru alot.She is a strong willed woman,"I'm a Survivor" should be her theme song!

Isn't if funny how cold we get now?  My hubby teases me because I wear his long underwear to bed each night.  They keep me toasty warm!  I might have to find some in my size to wear under my clothes!  Brrrrrrr....

I had a great day yesterday.  It was nice to just do things around the office without anyone being here.   I got some cleaning done and I plan to attack my desk today.  Hope I come out alive!  Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!

My interview went well last night.  I should know something soon on the job.  I really, really, really want it.  Looks like several of us are changing professions.  I'll keep praying for you Jenny!  Let's keep in touch about it ok? 

My elf sent me a package yesterday for my surgiversary.  I can't believe it's nearly been a year.  In a way it seems like yesterday in another way it seems like nothing's changed.  I'm must be a freak huh?

The biggest surprise is my hair!  I can't believe how curly it is.  I think people think I'm lying to them when I say I haven't gotten a perm.  It's really super duper curly!  I've always had bone straight hair too.  It's quite a change.  My dad has curly hair so I guess when it all fell out it grew back like his.  I have no idea how to fix it.  My elf put some scrunching spray in my package yesterday so I tried it today.  It looks better than it has been.  I'll have to work with it some more and figure something out.  I'll get Troy to take some pictures and post them.  It's such a shock!

Jacqui they have some neat long under wear thingies called Cuddle Duds. They are very soft and i guess they keep you really warm according to the elderly women that I used to take care of. I think you can only get that brand at upscale department stores, like Macy's and Eller Beerman. I was at Wally World the other day and they have some something like the Cuddle Duds. I don't know what sizes they had though. You might get you some for the really cold weather. They have long and short sleeves and of course the long pants.
 TO bad I am not close to you as I used to be a hairstylist and natural curly hair is so easy to do! I wish mine was curly. My best friend had beautiful naturally wavy hair. I love to cut it but it does take a knack to get it to look right when cutting it.
