Today, I'm one month out and I'm loving it.  I am down 34 lbs.  My BMI has gone from 53.9 to 48 or so.  I measured and  I was down about 24 inches overall (1/4 inch upper arm, 4 inches chest, 5 inches waist, 5 inches hips, 3 inches thigh, 6 inches abdomen).  I haven't had any band related problems.  I am dealing with a case of superficial thrombophlebitis in my left calf this week.  I had an ultrasound yesterday to make sure it was just superficial and it was so I'm on no exercise this week so I'm sure the loss will slow.  Other than that, I'm great.

Jacqui and I went to a support group meeting in Evansville Wednesday night.  I enjoyed myself.  Afterwards, I felt like I talked to much, but I have been known to do that.

Denise,
You are doing great- keep up the good work !

The first month is the hardest and you made it !!! Oh, make sure to take those measurements

often!   There were times I slowed down loss wise, but the inches fell off-they do add up to

great results!

Never worry about talking too much- if you do, they will let you know. Plus, you may be

asking/answering someones question!
