I'm home and doing okay.  I'm still in a lot of pain. I stayed an extra night at St. V's and I know that helped.  I am running a temp of 100.1, and my paperwork says to call dr if it gets over 100.5.  Has anyone had tha problem?

A huge hug to Floyd and Brenda for visiting me.  What wonderful people,  I even got a good bag from them....
Thanks to Misty for posting and calling me.

I also had Dawn's number  but you know husbands....mine hates the phone.

Well, back to bed...I am a tummy sleeper so this is hard but I'm getting there.

Glad to hear you doing well!  I am a side sleeper so that was also the hardest part for me, not being able to get on my side.  My back started hurting something terrible on about day 5 from the change in my sleeping patterns.  I was able to get on my side before two weeks was up, then you will feel so much better.  Take care of yourself and get some rest.

Glad you are home and doing well.  Hang in there, it will get easier every day.  Keep the binder on when you get up and walk (if you got one). It helped me tremendously.  Keep an eye on your temp., it may be nothing, but do call if it gets over 100.5 that can indicate an infection.

Glad you are home.  Watch that temp, sip fluids and if the doc sent you home on liquid vicodan it should have a little tylenol in it .  Take it easy ,but walk a little and sip fluids and don't worry too much about your getting all your protein in at first,it takes time....DEB

Glad your home and doing well!!  It's all uphill from here... I'm glad you had two angels visit you at St. V's. I had a mild temp too but, it never got past 100. I think that may be a bit normal but, you definately keep an eye on that.
Be Well  : )

Welcome home, Dani and welcome to the looser's bench.  I had to sleep in the recliner for the first couple of weeks.  My RNY was open and even with the binder on I could not get in and out of bed.  Take it easy, take your pain meds exactly on time.  It is easier to stay ahead of the pain.  Drink as much as you can in little tiny sips.  Keep track of what you are getting down.  and walk when ever you can.  It will help you in so many ways.  Take care.  You are on your way.  Karen
