Good Friday Morning

I havent gotten to start the thread for awhile now. Is everyone sleeping in today?
I have made a decision (I think) on my job.  As of right now, I think I am going to step down as the director of the EMS and go back to my old job at a collection agency.
When work starts affecting your home life, its time to start thinking of other options.  I am going to go talk to my old boss today. They already told me I could come back when I left, so I dont think it will be a problem.  I plan on staying on the ambulance as a volunteer, just stepping down.  The I can still do what I love and be happier to.
Hope everyone has a great day and wish me luck that I am making the right decision.

Jenny,
Thoughts are with you today as you go to talk with your old boss.  I am sure you will know soon that you did the right thing.
I have started laundry, the dishwasher, and burnt trash.
I started to get sick yesterday.....was up and down all night.....only positive thing is the scale dropped, only because everything is not staying with me long......
Dont think I am doing Curves with the way I feel.....need to get to WalMart, tomorrow we have a breakfast date with an old friend, and then a birthday party in the afternoon....
Off to try to rest......

Love, Holly

Good for you Jenny! Glad you are putting you and home first! So many people just stay and be miserable. I hope things will smooth out for you soon! Hope everyone has a good day and gets to get outside and enjoys the cooler temps and colors! They are awesome! Have a good day!

Good morning everyone!

I woke up this morning stiff, sore and hurting. I'm use to getting up at 4 for work. This is a day off so I slept in..and now paying for it I guess. I'm hoping it all eases up soon. I have to try to get my SUV in the shop. The darn engine light keeps coming on for a few days..then off for a few..then back on. I replaced the gas cap so aparently it's something else. Oh..then my turn signals went out this week! I just had all the bulbs changed 6 months ago so it's probably not that again. We'll see. nothing major..but pain-in-the-rear stuff, you know?

Bill's mom is back in the hospital. She'd been having problems urinating for a few days and yesterday morning, couldn't go at all. I remember when I had my urethra sling put in and they first removed the cath. That hurts like heck when you gotta go & can't. Anyway, they did a CT and an MRI...and called in a nuerologist. Aparently she has a disc (below the spinal column) that is pressing on nerves. They have to do surgery in order to give the nerves some room, otherwise, it could paralize her. They want to get her built up health-wise first (her sugar was way too low, blood to low, water retention to high, etc) so they are waiting until Tuesday to do surgery (she'll be their 'guest' until then). That ought to make for a busy day since Bill is also having a cornea transplant that day. Please keep both of them (and me!) in your prayers. After Jean has the surgery, she'll have to go to a rehab center for a few weeks. After the doctor left her room I told her that we had to stop this cycle..that a 'Mrs. Johnson' did NOT have to be in rehab at least once a year! lol. It's good that both of us could laugh about that. Yes...I really do like my mil.

Well..you all have a good Friday!!

Hi Everyone,
Going down to take care of the twins today- we went to their appointment, and they are doing great!Bethany is 28 5/8 " long, & 19#11 oz. Aiiden is 28 3/4 " tall & 18# 2 oz. so he is underweight. He is a very picky eater, so I am not surprised. Also, Mommy was little, too,so they aren't worried. The Dr. was very pleased with their growth and said that they need table food and to try using reg. milk now. Oh, and their iron level was the same- surprising!DH had to hold them whiole they got *****ed, & they never cried!!! I did post new photos of them on my profile ,if anyone wants to see them. I tell you, I do feel glad that I am working out- as much as I lift them, I couldn't have done it before!!!

Jenny, I am sure that you are making the best decision that you and your family needs.  You are in my prayers.  Good luck in your choices.

I actually don't have to be at wor****il 1 pm today, so I got to sleep in.  The girls are on Fall Break, so that made it even better.  I have been busy around the house today, and not accomplished much of anything else.  Oh well.

Thoughts and prayers going out to everyone in need.  It seems that there are more of us than we realize.  God Bless each and everyone.

Have a great day all!  Take care!
At Goal! 165 pounds gone forever! Thank you Lord!
