Hi there, Nice to meet you. We have alot of gatherings, so Please join in and introduce yourself. i always try to do as mush as I can do w/ the "hoosier Losers" Great support! I will shameless plug my Pampered Chef party I am having this saturday at 1:00. You can meet up w/ us and shop. ( my 2 favorite things...LOL) Let me know if you are interested. Gooluck w/ surgery. If you work your tool, you will be amazed at what you can Achieve! Stick w/ us kid and we can take you a long way!

I don't have experience with the lapband, as RNY was the right choice for me. Just wanted to say you've found a good place. You'll get alot of good support here.

I am Jenny and I had the RNY a year ago.  You have found a great support group here.  You will learn a lot here.  You dont have long before your new life begins.  I dont have any experience with the band but there are some on here that have had the band that would be more then happy to help you along your journey. 
We have an ornament exchange coming up on Dec. 6 there will be more posted about that as it gets closer. Then we have clothing exchanges every 3 months. We just had one this month so the next one will be I think in January.  There is also an secret pal/elf exchange that some do here.  Its already going right now, so if you want to get in on that you will have to send Floyd an email to put you on the directory. Send your name, address, phone #'s, surgery date, anniversary date and birth date to [email protected].  I think the next drawing for the secret pal exchange will be maybe in January. Sherri can help you out on all that she is the one that coordinates it.  Just some info to get you started though.  Good luck and welcome!

Welcome to OH and to the Indiana board! I think you'll find that this can be a terrific support source. We have several on here now that has had the Band..so lots of advice available! Please feel free to participate here on the board...as well as any activities that we have posted on here.

Hi Becca, Welcome to the group here.  I had RNY in Dec 2006, so I can't help you with any LapBand questions, but several gals on this site have had a band and have been very successful with it.  Your surgery date will be here before you know it.  Look forward to getting to know you.  Karen
