Morning All

Just wanted to jump on and tell everyone good morning and have a great day.   I'm going to supporpt group at Clarian tonight.  Haven't been in quite a while and need to get back on track.  Hope to see/meet some of you there.  When I was going with Floyd and Brenda we stopped at Starbucks, will anyone else be there?

Good morning all! Today's a good day,.. it's payday. That always makes for a better morning, to be able to get the bills out.

I don't have any particularly exciting plans for today. I will be driving to Bloomington for work. I have a new client whose home address is here in Vigo County, but is currently attending IU, so I'm going there to accommodate her. It will be nice to get out of the office for a bit, since I get reimbursed for the travel anyway.

Tonight I have to work at Sears. Busy Busy. Thursday is Boss's Day. So I got both of my bosses cards. They do treat me pretty well, and I appreciate that.

Good busy morning everyone.  Gotta hurry up and get in the shower.  I am working at the school today......they are having vision screenings, and our eye doctor is doing them.  His assistant called me yesterday to ask me to work with them, since I am working at the school quite often.  She said that the kids will see a face they recoginize, and they are usually easier to screen that way.  Sounds like a fun day! LOL

Tonight, the girls and I have another Debate party to attend.  Since this is the last debate before the election, we are going to have fun.  The girls are really excited, because they bought with their own money a couple of door prizes too.  We found Pez dispensers in the shape of the donkey and the elephant, and they are stuffed and decorated for the election.  They are really cute.  Hopefully Mariah will win the bingo game again.  She won $20 last week! She was so excited.

Last night was such a blast to visit with Lee Ann and Sharon at the support group, and then of course before that we got together with several of the KY board members and had a birthday bash for Lee Ann.  It was a great time!

Brenda, thanks for the phone call.  It was so nice to talk with you.  We will chat again soon!

Well...I got a Boss Day card for Brian yesterday. He isn't really that proactive as a boss when it comes to advancing your career as far as I'm concerned, so I got a humorous card. On the front it says "Happy Boss Day to someone who knows what it takes to make a successful business....' the inside says 'Terrific employees like us'. LOL! Kelly..my co-worker, loved it. haha!!We'll see what Brian thinks about it tomorrow.

I haven't heard back from the GI yet so I'll be trying to get hold of his office after 9. I have an appointment this afternoon (4:20) with Dr. Bergman so she can check out where she opened that place on my leg. It's pretty much healed up now but there is a little bit of a hard place there. I can't tell if it's liquid again or maybe just scar tissue. My belly still has the opening there but Dr. Bergman isn't over-seeing that one now...Dr. Gupta is and I don't see her again until the 23rd. In the morning, I go to see my endocrinologist. He had to up my synthroid again last time so he has me being checked every 3 months.

I'm not sure yet what I'll be doing today. Brian was suppose to get us some boxes so we could start packing some stuff up but none has arrived yet. I will probably be working on a proposal on where to move stuff around in the new lab. That, hopefully, won't take too long. now...getting the stuff moved AND ORGANIZED will probably take a little bit of time. Lord knows, it needs it. In our lab, Brian, Carol, and myself are somewhat anal about having things neat & organized. We believe in spending the time to do it once, and then keeping up with it as we go along so that we can find what we need when we need it. I think those in the new lab are just so use to the hunt & search game that they have never even considered making it neat & more user-friendly. Brian wants it done..and leaving it up to me on how to do it (preferably without making anyone ticked off over there). I try to keep in mind that although we are being uprooted, they are getting crowded  by having 4/5 people thrown in with them. I don't want them to feel like we are coming in and 'taking over'....you know?

ps..Jules...Floyd & Brenda never saw my post yesterday about dinner but called me ~4 to see if we wanted to go somewhere for Chinese. How's that for thinking alike? LOL! We tried out a Chine Buffet at Washington & Miffhoffer (SE strip mall). Food wasn't bad and the price was pretty good as well (less than $17 for 2 adult buffets & 2 drinks). Let us know when you have a evening available to meet up...k?

Good morning all!
Got through my class yesterday. Me and my partner were late cause we caught a run 1/2 hr before it started.  We didnt mind that we were late, we were hoping for something else to get out of class again...lol! Not that we wanted anyone to get hurt, but you know what I mean.
Today I have to be the bad boss. I have to fire someone. I always hate that, but when you have talked and talked to them and they still continue doing the same stupid stuff then obviously they are not meant to be here.  Oh well, thats life I guess.
Nothing much else going on today.
