Well 7 days and here we go. I have just had a bad 24 hrs with a bug that bit hard AND the Joe gets a call from the cardiologist that he has to have a heart cath on Thursday!!! He says the heart looks fine but there is a spot where the blood is moving slowly and he wants to look at it and possibly balloon it or put a splint in!!

So--now I am freaking out!!!!

Prayers and Angel dust please?

Wow..I think you two are related to me & Bill! That's about the kind of luck we usually have. I'm glad that they want to do Joe's cath now though instead of discovering something isn't working right when it actually causes a major problem. I hope you get to feeling better. So.. are both of your WLS post-poned now?

Dr Fouts seems to think he will be able to still have surgery next week but I guess we now wait until
Thursday and then go from there.

Connie - I sure would rather find out there is a glich now than after I had surgery!  I know a lot of us have comorbidities to deal with, some more than others.  That's why our insurance approves us often times.  But it is much better for the surgeon to check us out prior to surgery and take care of whatever beforehand so we avoid complications after our surgeries.  Hang in there.  Karen

Thanks Karen and you are right..still scary.

But hopefully if they do have to do something his energy level will go up and so much better safe than sorry!!
