Well I can't sleep now either! SO it is a good morning to you! I am glad to see Mrs. Gail is on here while I am. I am so glad that it is still going to be warm so I can get my Mustang GT cleaned up inside and out for the upcoming winter! I know I said a very bad word didn't I? Better wash my hands off with LYE SOAP. Well all have a great day! I have lots to do and hope to maybe get something totally finshed since I am getting an early start. Michelle
Good Morning!
Gail, glad to see you on the board and that you are feeling better every day. Hope you got some sleep in this morning.
Procrastinated again yesterday on the yard work. My DIL wanted to go to lunch, so we called a couple of friends from church to meet us at 11:30 and had such a great time we didn't get home until after 2:00.
Hard to get back to work this morning after having four days off. But I keep telling myself only four more years then hopefully retirement!
Hope everyone has a good day.
Julie

I always said "pigs would fly" before they approved my surgery. Guess what??? The pigs are flying!!!!
So glad to see you back on here, Gail. I have missed that smiling face! I know you are getting better every day! Can't wait to see you again!
Today is a busy day for me. Laundry to get done, and house to get cleaned before I leave at 12:30. Today is a short day for the girls at school, and then we are on our way to Louisville for fun and excitement! Tonight is the Nortons support group! The topic is Plastic Surgery! I can't wait to hear what they have to say!
Have a wonderful day all. I have to get the girls looking beautiful! It is picture day, and not only did I get their bangs trimmed yesterday, but now they want their hair curly, so its time to drag out the curling iron. Thats gonna be fun! Gotta go, but I will be back online later this morning to check in!

Good to see you Gail!
Well, yesterday was a busy day for me. In the morning, I went and got my labs drawn for my 2 years check-up next month. That was no fun! 17 tests, Dr. Inman ordered! I am a hard stick, as my veins roll, but what can you do. After three sticks they finally got a vein, and I filled up those vials.
Then Hubby and I went to meet our new State Farm agent and get insurance started up. We are switching from Allstate, because State Farm's going to save us money. I liked our old agent, but $60 a month is too much to pass up.
Then Mike and I drove to Carmel for my appointment with Dr. Grasee. I really liked her. She's did measurements and pictures, and is going to submit it to insurance to see if they'll cover any thing. I really hope they will.

Happy Tuesday everyone!
Gail...I do hope you were able to catch some
!!! I remember sleeping in my recliner those early days after PS (and pretty much every other abdominal surgery!). I just couldn't get comfortable in our waterbed even though it is ~80% motionless. I was afraid of the drain tubes getting tangled up too so it just worked better with me in my chair.
I'll be back & forth between the old lab and the new one today...like usual anymore. I ended up walking about 9,000 steps yesterday (~4.5 miles) pretty much just going back & forth. Our new desk areas are suppose to be completed on the 29th and our desk stuff moved that day. Our glassware and stuff that we box up will be moved on the 30th. I think they are going to be moving our large instruments next week though. I just about have the inventory done of what is over in the new lab. I have one small area to go and I hope to get it done this morning. Then Brian (my boss) and I will go over it and see how we can re-arrange things to make the most sence. The ones who are over there...I don't think they have an organizational bone in their bodies! Not based on the inventory anyway. They may have to get use to where things are, but at least all the supplies for the HPLC will be by the HPLC's..and not scattered 3-6 aisles away from them. They have a UV on aisle one...and stuff for the UV in aisle 9! The furthest aisle they could get from it. I think Brian is going to try to get us some boxes so we can get started boxing our stuff up. That will be good.
Ok everyone....fingers crossed! I didn't hear from my GI yesterday so I'm really hoping I do today. While you're saying your prayers, please also include my daughter & step-daughter. They both have bronchitis & strep. I hope no one else gets it.
There's a guy in the new lab that we refer to as 'surfer-dude' (Philip). He tries to talk about like the beach bums on a Frankie and Annette movie set...and he's from OHIO! Either that or he watched WAY too many Scooby Doo cartoons and thinks he's Shaggy! He refered to my opening in my stomach as 'a window..kinda like the glass view of a cows stomach at the museum man.....'. Yeah..and he's got a BA! Yesterday he asked me 'Hey dude..you still got that window to your stomach?'. It took me a second to catch what he was talking about but I said 'yes'. Then he asked how much longer I was going to have it....and when I'd be able to do lab work again. I told him that I didn't know..that I'd been having it more or less for a year and that I just had a test that will hopefully tell the docs what is going on. What does he say? 'Well, you should be use to it by now man'. Dude, what an idiot! I sincerely hope that NO ONE ever has to 'get use to' this! This guy is the same rank as Brian is. Somehow, I just have a hard time visuallizing this 'dude' in a position of a supervising chemist. I hope he never become my supervisor. There are 5 people already in the new lab that we are being moved to. Their bosses boss is Yi Xie...pronounced as 'Ea* Shi*' without the 'T's'. He's over Philip and Twelde and they are over Ray & Shellie. It's 'new' as in new to us...not 'new'. Kinda like buying a used car vs a new one. One comes in early like me (Ray). The rest....8:30 (Yi & Twelde)...9 (Phillip)...9:30 (Shellie).... In our group? Brian & Kelly both get in ~7-7:30 and I do ~5-5:30. I'd rather come in early and LEAVE early!
I had my AchievOne and my sf decaf tea. I think it's time to go get me a skinny latte! Once we move to the new lab, I won't be able to get them as often. Our old lab is ~half-way between the new lab and the Java City (so it'd be ~1 mile in each direction!).
Dawn...if you'd like, you can give me a call whenever you have time. If I can talk (which, I usually can), I won't let it go to voice. Until we get moved over to the new lab, I won't be at my desk much so you'll have better luck reaching me on my cell phone. You can try my work # first if you want. I'm pretty sure I have both of them and the house # on the directory. If not, let me know & I'll send them to you.
Floyd & Brenda...what's for dinner? I have a doctor appt tomorrow after work and if Bill's mom is up to it, dinner with her & Bob on Thursday. So...how does Lincoln Square sound for tonight? (if anyone else would like to join us, you're welcome...it's on 21st street between Shadeland & Franklin). Let me know if you plan on coming so we can get a big enough table. Say...6-ish? Work for you guys? Julie..work for you? Let me know and I'll call Bill & let him know...lol! Guess who doesn't want to cook tonight! LOL!!
Ellen..you & Dana have a safe trip home...ok? I think the weather is suppose to be 'summertime' here in Indy. I hope it's like that for you guys on the road.
Well..java time! You all have a good day!
