Sunday morning
Good morning all!
I talked with Gail last night and she sounds like she's doing good. Still some swelling & pain but nothing that wasn't really expected. We had a few good laughs...lol.
Bill &I went to Tuttles Orchard yesterday & I got alot of apples to dehydrate. I'll probably be working on that today. We stopped at a fruit stand and I got 10 qts of strawberries so I was able to put some in the freezer for this winter.
I don't really have much to say this morning..so you all have a good day today!!

Good morning all. I had such a wonderful visit with Michelle and LeeAnn, and their families last night. We had a wonderful meal at Miguel's, and sat and visited for quite some time. It was really a great way to end a long day from work!
I have to work this morning, then I am off for 3 days! Wooooooo Hoooooo! Bill paying on Monday, and then Tuesday is the support group meeting in Louisville. Anyone in the area is welcome to join Lee Ann and me! Just let us know!
This week is going to be busy, since I will be getting things ready for a yard sale Saturday morning! I have tons of things to put in, and not enough time in the days to get it all ready! LOL Go figure! Oh well, at least I will have 3 days to get most everything ready!

Hi all! Sherri,... glad to hear Gail's doing well. That's encouraging. Today is Sunday, and I must work at Sears today. It's a shorter shift that usual. They altered their store hours from 11-6:30 in the past to 12-6 now. This is to match the mall hours on Sunday and try to save a little money for the store. I really don't mind a shorter day, actually. I'm a little tired today.
Last night was Mikey's sleepover party. Out of four friends invited only two could come, but he didn't seem upset. He seemed to have had a good time with those buddies. They're still sleeping now, but they were up until about 3am, playing on that Wii machine. They had a good old time with it. They demolished the pizzas too. Thank goodness for that discount I told you about yesterday. I got four pizzas for $16!!!
The bad news? I got a letter yesterday from Anthem saying they are not paying for my helicopter ride to St. V's last July from when I had my perforated ulcer. They said it was not medically necessary, because it could have been fixed in NW Indiana where I was at. What??? I didn't ASK to be sent there. The Hospital I was at made that decision without consulting me, they just told me. I didn't get a choice in the matter. So obviously the hopstial there DID NOT feel they could handle my case. It's not like you're laying there in pain and doped up, and they come ask you where you would like to go and how you'd like to get there, and so on. And do you think to ask if you're insurance has preapproved it when you're afraid for your life? I am definately going to appeal this and encourage the air ambulance to appeal it too, because there's no way I can afford to pay for it on my own.

Goodness NO!! I think the Hospital that made the decision to airlift you should pay for it. They just dont think... They tell y ou after an emergancy visit and drugs you should not make life decisions for 24 hours but they expect you to make one during the energancy??? I dont think so. Like when Hendricks County allowed me to dehydrate and sent me home throwing up with a massive headache!! Dr C was so angry they let me dehydrate and then sent me home!!

I dont think being on my feet for 8 hours is going to be good for me I have to take pain med and have Ron rub my feet when I get home I am in so much pain... thats what I get for sitting on my butt in an office for 10 years!! I work another 8 today

I am absolutely appalled that they would deny that claim! I'd get a letter from the hospital also stating the medical necessity and that they could NOT handle your situation there! I just hate it that a bunch of non medical insurance personnel dictate the medical care we receive. If the doctor says it's necessary, then it is!!!

So I sure know who my family is. My daughters & families are here for me Thank God. But the support I get is from you, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I am a little more swelled today, mostly on my left side, a lot a pain there, but I will be fine in no time.
I did talk with Sherri last night, and I laughed
and I didn't feel so hot yesterday, so that laughing did a world of good. I hope and pray everything is going well for all.

Good morning
I had to get up to get Joey from work this morning its nice though to spend that little one on one time with him..
We were at the navy bean festival fri and sat.
I spent my time there with friends but also my mom(she has been diagnoised with a mental disorder) so she has alot of bad moments but we really enjoyed her this weekend and she thanked me for a good time..
We are watching football and clipping coupond today..exciting lol
We have to get pool estimates tomorrow for the insurance what sucks is before we can put a pool back up we have to hook up to city sewage 7500.00..We were also told to go see fema due to the loss of food our extra frig didnt come back on when the electric did...
