Weight Gain Questions

Hi Everyone,

I am a 6 yr post op patient of the RNY Lap Gastric Bypass. I had surgery at St. Vincent Carmel and my surgeon was Dr. RoseMarie Jones. I had a baby last October 2007. I've gained 40 pounds since having my son. My lowest weight was 164 about four years ago. I've slowly gained weight since then and I am now at my highest post surgery at 220. I'm concerned and I am not sure how to get back on track to lose the weight again on my own. As post op patients, are we allowed to still contact one of the dieticians at St. Vincent to go over a new diet? Do we pay for this or is this still covered from our surgery?

When you have your surgery at St. V you get dietician support for life.  Call or e-mail them.  They will be happy to help you.

Ditto,... that's what I was always told, was that as a Center of Excellence, that's one of the services they provide. They will help you get back on track, I'm sure. And we'll give you support here, this is a great place for it.

Happy Birthday! It sounds like your son will have a great time. I do have one question, how did you get your wieght loss ticker on your signature? I've tried all three codes and they are not working. I know you are a very busy woman today and answer whenever you have the free time.

Hi Lori,

I'm not Linda, but I thought I would reply anyway.  Don't copy the codes for the ticker.  Right click your mouse on the picture of the actual ticker and copy it.  Then you can paste it into your signature.
