I'm Almost Ready To Shake Some Things Up !!
Well....I just got back from my lunch hour and roamed Circle Center Mall....nice view and a good walk too! ;o) I cut thru T J Maxx and decided to check out the sugarfree syrups....BINGO! I found 4 to start me out...I got French Vanilla, White Chocolate, Vanilla Macadamia Nut and Irish Cream! yummy! I am sooooo excited to get started on these protein shakes. I have only made the St. V, milk mixture right after my surgery and drank it the first few months so I have not really experimented at all...kind of a smoothie virgin if you will....lol
Can anyone give me an idea of how much milk and ice to use with one scoop of protein powder? Can you use more powder? I will have to try mine in a blender for now and maybe upgrade to the magic bullet later. Thanks for any imput! :o)
You all have a super day!
Hugs!

Good luck, Marianne! I am starting to do the same thing! I had Shanna's at the exchange and they were yummy! I have to admit I too was a smoothie virgin and was sceptical- BUT she won me over! I even went to KOHLS last night and bought the magic bullet! It was on sale for 50- we had a wait, in the service line, so she discounted 15% plus -my aunt put it on her charge and there was a special for 20% additional! I ended up getting it for 34.00- SOLD! I am a happy camper! Now to put the thing in use!
As far as quantities- Shanna said to experiment, depending on your taste! She used the french vanilla, I believe! She likes hers sweet! I probably would use a little less vanilla, BUT it was good! I have the caramel, white chocolate, kahlua! She did use 2 scoops of protein though! It was the walmart advance whey protein, I priced it at 14.97! Hope this helps, some! Good sipping, to ya! Enjoy, Hugz Dawn
Also, sometimes Marshalls carries the bigger bottles too!

Hey Marianne,
Good for you! I use the Magic bullet....For a single smoothie for me, I use the single serving containers they come with. I used the blender attatchment for the exchange. I double my recipes so I used 2 scoops of Body Fortress. For my single serving I use 1 scoop of Body fortress. I use I would say 2-3 handfuls of Ice cubes but I like a smoothie consistency. It has to be really cold! When I blend it down, sometimes I find I can add more ice. Right now I am sipping on my Banana Cream pie smoothie. As for the syrups, They are made w/ splenda so Use them like a sweetner. Mix it up and sip and see if it needs more and add a dash and blend more. Just play around. You shouldn't need more than a tablespoon of anyone ingredient. ( except ice, milk, or protein powder) Good Luck Shanna

Hi everybody!
I don't know if I have asked before (dont remember)but where are the TJ Maxx's in Indy? I went ahead and ordered some Devinci syrups online and it only took about 3 days to get them but if I am going to be over that way I would like to check this store out. We would probably be in the Castleton area or out on 40. Any near here?
Thanks,
Connie
PS---Shanna, you are slippin girl!! No recipes in a while shamey, shamey Hahahah
