Good morning all!

Not lookin forward to today at work.  My officers and I have to go through FEMA training for the NIMS IC-300 course and it is soooo boring.  Stuff that nobody cares about.  Basically it boils down to they are trying to train us on stuff if we were to have a big mass casuality and it is something EMT's have been doing for years and now FEMA decides they want us to go through courses. This is the 5th one.  It is 3 hrs long for 6 sessions.

Ellen have a safe trip to Minnesota and have fun.

Prayers being sent to all!

Off to get some things done before this stupid session.

Good Mornng all!,
I work nights tonight so Bella and I slept in. We had a great visit from my mom and dad yesterday, I just so hated to see them go. Tyler had an awesome game lastnight. We won 42-0. He played the whole game, offense, defense and Special teams! I got to take my mom around to a few of my favorite Consignment tsores before the game and found a few goodies!

She was decent today. She is a hoot! I wonder about her sometimes.
She was asking if you were at the first clothing exchange we went and I said yes, she said I dont remember her. I said well that was before she had her surgery so she looked different....lol

Well, I am a little late adding to the Tuesday post, but it is still officially Tuesday even though it is 11:32 pm.  I am going to be one tired puppy tomorrow!  Did anyone see Ms. Wing asleep on her desk?  I can hear it now!  My computer would not cooperate this morning and I had trouble late last night too.  So I thought I would try again before I went to bed and sure enough it worked.  So I thought I'd better post in case tomorrow am it doesn't work again.  Can't log on to the internet and we pay every month for wireless connection within the house.  Go figure.
Glad to hear that Gail is up and around.
I read one gal's posts(sorry I am terrible with names) about really missing food.  I remember those days.  First of all, I think that is one of the reasons that most doctor's start you out on an anti-depressant right after surgery.  You are mourning for the loss of your best friend.  I also consulted a therapist for several months before and after my surgery and found it very helpful.  Course the therapy we get for free on this board is invaluable too but sometimes we all need a professional.  If you are feeling too overwhelmed to not be able to take full advantage of the tool that WLS has provided for you, then by all means consult professional help.  It was a God-send for me.
As far as eating out...now I am excited.  I usually get 3-4 meals out of the portions they serve in a restaurant.  So eating out is fun for me.  However, I have found that mixing several different foods together at the same time for me is risky in spite of beano and Devrom.  I usually end up with enough gas to fill the gas tank to Indy and back.  So I try to stay with just a basic piece of fish or chicken and some veggies (except broccoli-big red flag).
Hope you all are having a good week so far.  I had teacher meetings all day yesterday and no students.  So today felt like my Monday.  I couldn't figure out why so many people in our neighborhood had trash out already when I came home tonight.  Trash day isn't until Wed. Then it dawned on me that today was Tues.!!! Duh!  Wow that means tomorrow is hump day already!  Yeah!  Hugs to everyone...Karen
