Teu... morning people
I see where Floyd and Brenda said they would have the ornament exchange again... Way to go... People were so disapointed thinking you wouldn't because last y ear was so fun!!
I had a good time in training yesterday...My new job will be weekends for a month so great!!! Part time and I can keep looking for a better job in the meantime..
Well hi ho hi ho.... into the shower I go!! I about froze yesterday so I am wearing a turtle neck under my blue shirt!!
Linda Kay
Good Morning All! I see everyone who went to the clothing exchange had a good time with lots of good food from the looks of the postings. I will make it to an exchange hopefully the next one.
YEA for Floyd and Brenda having the ornament exchange. They are such great hosts and have fabulous parties. I am looking forward to it.
Had a very busy weekend. Made the trip to IU Med Center several times to see my SIL. As of yesterday they still didn't know the biopsy results or if her body was rejecting the new liver. My brother has been so stressed out (naturally) his ALS that was supposed to be the slow progressing type has accelerated. He has gone from being diagnosed in May, to using a cane in June and using a walker in September. But through it all their faith has remained strong. He told me Sunday he's still waiting on his miracle for them. Please keep them in prayer.
Linda, I can sympathize with your freezing. I would much rather be too warm. I dread winter coming because I know I'll freeze for months. I did get a doctor's slip to turn in at work so I can get a heater for my area.
Sherri, thanks for posting on Gail, hope she recovers quickly. Hope you and Bill are doing well.
Hope everyone has a great day.
Julie
I am sorry to hear about your sil. I am really sorry to hear about your brother. Stress makes ALS accelerate which sounds like that is what he is experiencing. It is such a rotten form of Muscular Dystrophy! I feel for you and what you will have to go through. Of course my heart goes out to your brother! He is going to go through alot of depressing stuff before he leaves this earth. I will pray for him and her too of course. They are going to have alot to go through in the next few years! Take care of yourself! Michelle
Have a great day all, since I need to hop in the shower and get the girls up and ready. They took their showers last night, and I put their hair up in "pin curls". I haven't done that in ages, and it looks so cute with I do it! They have naturally long and straight hair, so anything different they just get so excited over! Must get them up and check out their hair! Gotta go! Take care and have a wonderful day!
You only have one life to live, but if lived right, it's the only one you need!
Yesterday we got some money in, my husband cashed out her PERF annuity, since he hasn't been in a PERF job for about 5 years. It's depressing how fast it's going to get everything caught back up, but atleast we have the chance to do it. I'm thankful for that. The Lord does watch out for us, it seems.
I am getting nervous about the consultation next Monday in Carmel for plastics. What should I expect, can anyone tell me? I need to call them, and find out how to get there, and if there's an upfront fee, too.
Linda
Linda,
When I had my ps consult with Dr. Bergman, first thing they did was find out which procedures I was interested in and then had me & Bill watch short video's about each one of them. Then Dr. B came in and we talked about each of them. We also talked about which order we should do what. Then she had me go into an ajoining room and change into the famous paper panties & a robe. She came in and checked to see how much skin I had where-ever, tell me where the incision lines would be, etc. After that, she took before pics. After I got re-dressed, a member of her staff came in and gave me price estimates depending on what I had done, when (there's a discount on the 2nd procedure if you have more than one done at a time). Because I did have one visit to a doctor because of rashes on my belly/in my belly button, she gave me an estimate if Anthem covered the tummy tuck portion and one if they didn't. That was it. She billed Anthem for the consult (I think it was $250) and they covered it. Her office also took care of sending the paperwork to Anthem and getting the approval. Dr. Turkle's office wouldn't bill the insurance for ANYTHING.
Dr. B really is laid back and very down to earth. There is NOTHING to be antsy about.
To get there, it's easiest if you turn right off of 31N (Meridian) at the light before St. Vincent Carmel. It use to be called 126th...but I can't think of it's name now. Max & Erma's & a strip mall will be on the right side of the road before the light you turn at. Her office is in the building on the right side of the road, after the 2nd light (on Old Meridian). When her office sent me paperwork to fill out there was a small map there and it told me to turn right on Old Meridian. I don't think there is a light there and at that time, there was road construction going on so it was easier for me to just turn at that light after the strip mall.

Linda I am glad that the first day of training went good! Good luck for today!
LaChelle What a fun thing to do with the girls! The field trip will be a good one I am sure! I think we will be heading down there on Thursday but haven't called my cousins and confirmed it yet. I am going to do that today it is on my list!
I finally got those windows finished and we have 1 coat of paint on the floor. If it peels this time I am going to be pissed!
I went to the Care Group yesterday and I might have found out what is causing the spells I have been having. I am glad to think that it might be found! But it is kind of serious. When on the treadmill my heart beat was all over the place! I have an arthmea problem which makes my blood pressure drop and could in turn cause my spells. I am going to go back to the Care Group to see a doctor that specializes in this stuff. I hope they can get it taken care of with some drugs! A friend said alot of times they implant a pacemaker for it. WOW that doesn't sound like fun!
I guess my DH decided to take the job in Bloomington. I am glad he is going back to work. I have an interview tomorrow so please pray for me that I get the Temp job for IBM.
Well got to go get started with the dishes and laundry! You all have a great day! Michelle
Good morning everyone!
I dropped off my stuff this morning at the new lab and just brought my AchievOne and decaf tea with me to my desk in our lab. I can't get online in the new lab yet so I had to come here first to check my email, etc. I'll be heading that way soon though.
Julie...Bill & I are hanging in there. He has his cornea sugery on the 21st. We'll both be glad when he gets it done! You know how you have to watch your feet if you have a puppy in the house? Well..I have to watch Bill's feet or he's lible to come barrelling at me and not notice me there! As for myself, I'm just looking forward to getting that test on Friday...and hopefully, some answers. It'd be great seeing you again! Maybe you can get together with Brenda & Floyd and see which night would be good for dinner with us. Any night except Thursday or Friday should work for us. Say...Lincoln Square (on 21st between Shadeland & Franklin)?
Linda Kay...I freeze all the time. I have two insulated carhart jackets and a hoodie here in the lab! There are days that I attempt to type with gloves on too! I'm glad your new job is working out so far. If it weren't for my belly & all, I would be tempted to find a part-time job for Fridays & Saturdays.
I'm glad Gail looked so good yesterday. She is walking & moving around alot better than I remember doing right after ps. But I wasn't nearly as bruised or swollen. Please continue keeping her in your thoughts.
All the newbies...please refer to Floyd's post about the Hoosier Directory & get your info to him (if you haven't already). We use this listing as a means to contact you, send cards, etc. I use it for the Secret Elf Exchange (you gotta be on the directory to be invited to participate).
Floyd & Brenda...I have Dec. 6th in my phone! Woo-hoo!!
You all have a terrific day!

Happy Tuesday Everyone!
I am so sorry to hear about all of our trials. But I am told God doesn't give us more than we can handle. Sometimes I wonder. But keep your chin up and life goes on. All of our happy times are great. I pray they keep coming for all of us.
Floyd-The Ornament Exchange sounds like a lot of fun. Thank you for hosting.
Our daughter was home from college this past weekend. It was great to see her. I miss her greatly. It's a right of passage. Our son was home(He lives with some friends). It was wonderful to see him. He took his sister back to school for us on Sunday. He wanted to spend some time with her. AAAwwwww. They do like each other.
I am at school already. The children don't start coming for about an hour and 15 minutes. I can get a lot done in this quiet time.
Everyone have a great day.
