Anyone from here going to the Plainfield support group on Thursday?  I plan to go - just wondered if anyone else was.

Who hosts the Plainfield Support Group? Is it open to anyone?

From the info I got from St. V's, it is a general support group open to pre and post op patients.  It's the 2nd Thursday of the month from 7-8:30 at the Plainfield Christian Church, 800 Dan Jones Road, Entrance 11 Room 212.  It will be my first time.

Deb Nelis is the one who's in charge of the group, and it's a St. Vincent sponsored support group although I don't know that you necessarily have to have had your surgery at St. V's to go to the group.  I'll email Deb and ask her if you're interested.  She's a super sweet lady, and I always enjoy her support group (she also leads the one in Speedway).

I usually go to the Plainfield support group, but I don't think I will make it to this one...bummer, I would have liked to meet you, Christie.  Maybe I'll see you at the next one??

Well darn!  I was hoping to find someone from here that was going.  That group is on the list that Dr. Stote gave me, so I am going to go.  He wants me to attend support groups monthly till I have surgery (and of course, I will go afterward too).

Maybe I'll see you at the next one!

Plainfield Christian Church, 800 Dan Jones Road, Entrance #11, Room 212, Plainfield from 7-8:30 2nd Thursday of the month.  It's for both pre and post op patients.

I plan to go, and hope to drag hubby along as well.
