Miss Gail...

I went by and saw Gail today after work. Understandably, she's very sore. And of course, with Gail, she is bruised up everywhere. Gail bruises so easily that where-ever any pressure is applied at all is bruised...so ALL underneath her compression garment is a massive bruise. It doesn't help that she has been having some MAJOR swelling. Dr. Bergman told her to keep ice on for 1 full hour, off an hour, repeat.

Gail loved all the cards she has gotten and all the gift bags. Let's see...Karen, Shanna, Lee Ann, Ellen....and one more....? Dawn? There wasn't a card in it and my memory isn't so hot. She was so tickled by each of them though. She also loved all the jeans. She kept saying 'I won't be that small'. I kept saying 'Gail, if you were a 16/18 before, you will be a 14 or less afterwards!'. I don't think she'll believe me until some of that swelling goes away! lol.

Gail sends her love. It will be awhile yet before she chances sitting on her computer chair with wheels but she wants you all to know that she does appreciate each of you. I'll probably stop by there again Wednesday on my way home to check on her. I brought the posts that referred to her with me so she could read them. I will Wed. too.

Its so great to hear that Gail was up to having a visitor.  I have been thinking a lot about her, and praying for her recovery.

Sherri- thanks for being such a good friend to Gail.  I am hoping she is feeling better when you stop by on Wed. Gail - take this time to heal and think about the journey since your WLS.  Then you need to thank God for the great thing He has done!  God has forgiven our mistakes ov overeating and destroying His temple.  He has given us a second chance and I praise Him daily for it!   I know you will be ouchy for a while but the final outcome will be worth it.  Hang in there.  You have my love, prayers, and good thoughts.  Special hugs,,,Karen

Miss Gail- I hope you are feeling better each day! I am going to be gone till next Wed. so heal, rest, and know my thoughts are with you dear Sister. The swelling & bruising will go away- don't fear!! Enjoy those new "duds"-whatever size you end up with- you are one beautiful woman!

Glad to hear she is up and moving about.

She told me that she had recieved 2 cards in the mail..she didn't tell me who they were from and I didn't think to ask. When I go by there tomorrow I'll try to remember to get a list..lol.
