Gail update...

Gail had a little bit of a rough night and they decided to keep her another one..so...she got home this afternoon. Since she wasn't use to all that activity & movement from coming home, she was pretty sore. If she's feeling better, I'm going to go see her tomorrow and bring all the gift bags to her that was brought to the exchange today. I did tell her for HER to call ME if she's feeling up to talking. I know how important it's going to be for her to rest these next few days.

Lisa..I told her about the girl's clothes and she was so tickled about them! Thank you!

Gail is a tremendous support person for us here. More so than she even can imagine. I know she has always been ears for me to vent to and a shoulder to cry on.

If we ever get to where all of us feel up to a road trip like that, we may have to have Karen and Brenda (and, and, and...) join us and..let's see...how does a day at outlet mall sound (Edinburg..right?)? Then we can stay all night and then drive over to Nashville, IN. I LOVE the little shops there! That'd be a nice little road trip!  Two days of being with my buddies and racking up my Visa...??? What a wonderful way to spend $ !! Hmmm..but the weekend before, we'll have to do the beauty shop thing and get our hair & nails done so we can look so purty for our shopping trip!

I am not sure if you were able to visit with Gail today or not? If not and you see or talk with her, please send her a hug and love from me! I don't want to call and disturb her if she is resting! I know I wasn't up to much right after my surgeries with the panni and hernia, let alone being sick on top of it all! If you visit and are up to company, let me know- maybe I could catch a ride and we could visit, too! Hugz Dawn

Gail didn't return my phone messages until~8 last night. I'll be going by there after I get off of work today. I'll let her know everyone said hi. In fact..I've been printing off the posts about her for her to be able to read since I doubt she'll attempt to get on the pc for a few more days yet.

Hey, I am in!  That sounds like a blast!  I have never been pampered like that to get pretty and helping Gail shop for red shoes sounds like fun!  I am thinking Spring?  After a long cold winter, I think it would be just what the doctor ordered for all of us!  Good idea Sherri and Ellen!  Hugs to you both.  It was so good seeing you both.  I am glad that Gail's surgery is behind her. 


Gail, just rest, sip, walk, and then repeat that process.  Take care of yourself.  I am praying for your quick recovery.  Missed seeing you yesterday, but I totally understand.  Just coming home from the hospital and feeling ouchy, I wouldn't have wanted company either.  Just know that thoughts and prayers are with you.
