Shanna  I loved that you had your protein bar set up. It was great to try the different shakes you made. YUMMY!

You know...this is the second time I have been to the exchange and each time I have come I get so inspired and rejuvenated! It was great to get to meet everyone! It really is so different in person than online! Shanna...gotta tell ya...that was the neatest idea and best protein shake! My sister Lynn went to Walmart right afterward and bought all the stuff including a Magic Bullett! She really wants to try to eat like we do to see if she can shed some extra weight she claims she has...where it is I have no clue! She even bought me a Magic Bullett for my birthday next week! She may be one year younger than me, but she is still my hero in every way!  She learned so much today! Michelle...girl...we gotta stretch them legs! lol....I am so glad I came...it makes the drive worth it to meet with everyone! Gail....do hope you feel better! Robin...as always...great job!
Its 11:22...off to bed!

Hi Group!

Sounds like everyone had an amazing time today at the exchange.  Unfortunately a couple of things came up for us today--one right after the other and we just couldn't get away.  Looking forward all your recipe postings from todays event and even the next group activity!   You all are awesome!

Robin - Thanks so much for letting the OH group use your church facilities for our clothing exchange.  I had such a good time.  I wish I lived closer to Indy and could be more active in all that goes on.  Just living south of Fort Wayne makes it a little difficult.  This is the first clothing exchange I have made it to.  I went to one quite a while ago, but when I arrived at the church it had been cancelled there at the last minute due to the church needing the facility for a funeral.  I had not checked the website before leaving that morning to find out that it had been moved to a different location.  I only had one other person's phone number and I didn't know anyone that well and I was too embarrased to call and say well, here I am now where do I go?  Well that was then and this is now.  Many friendships formed and many emails sent later, I know I could have easily made that phone call and I really missed out on a blast of a time.  So I was determined to be at this one.  All the food was yummy!  I think there were two kinds of meatballs.  One was inside a mushroom I think and then there was one other one.  I am not sure who brought that one but I would love the recipe.  The soups looked fantastic but I was afraid to eat anything with the beans.  The gas belonged in my gas tank if you get the drift.  It was wonderful to meet new people and catch up with old friends.  I hope the weather cooperates for me to attend the next activity.  Hugs to you....Karen  PS.  Girl you need a new pic up on the OH message board.  You are looking fantastic!

It was my first clothing exchange and I had a great time.  You all are simply amazing and I look forward to participating in more of these activities in the future.  Among family & friends, I am the only one to have had this surgery, so to spend time with all of you really helped. It was one of the best days I've had since surgery.

Thanks!!!
