I just got off the phone with John...Michelle's dh..so Gail's sil.

Gail did great.

First, the hernia: The hernia repair went excellent. Dr. Huse was able to close it up without using any mesh. Trust me, that is terrific news!

Next...Dr. Bergman removed 13.5 lb of skin plus what-ever she lypo'ed. She does have the hip to hip incision but she also has it down the center. I think that one was a have-to because of the hernia but Dr. Bergman cleaned up the scarring that she had there from previous surgeries so it'll look nice & neat.

Gail was in surgery from 7:30-12:15. She's still in recovery & out of it right now. It is still expected at this time for her to be released in the morning.

I'll let you know if I hear more. In the meantime, don't forget to drop me that email on 'Gail's perfect man'.

Oh..for those who would like to get a card, etc to her and are planning on coming to the clothing exchange..if you want to bring whatever with you, I'll deliver it all this weekend when Gail is up to having company.

I checked in a couple of times at work for updates. Couldn't respond so now that I am home.....Yeah for you, Gail! wow ! Thanks for the update SHerri. Sounds like they will release her pretty soon tommorrow. Thta's super fast! I thought she would be in longer. I went to send You a card (gail) Last night but my compuetr is so old it won't let me. Glad everything went well! You are gonna look amazing when you are all healed up!
