Morning All!

Sherri, your idea sounds great for Gail. I have yet to meet her yet I sense a very sweet spirit in her on here. :o) My thoughts are with her today, for me it was a painful recovery but SOOOOO worth it! For dating advice...tell her when she "Finds someone she would rather do nothing with than to do something with anyone else " he is the right one!"

I have been so busy my time on here is scarce. I love popping in to see how everyone is doing.  Life seems good for most all of you and that is great! I am still on my path to being better at no sugar...still a struggle but I am getting there and keep focusing on the new healthy me.  I work with a guy who is about 4~6 months ahead of me in this journey and he has gained quite a bit of his weight back dealing with alot of stress in his life right now. Seeing him reminds me I have to be faithful to be successful. we talked the other day and he is talking about looking into the new procedure of Stomaphyx (sp?).  I am glad it is out there but hope to never need it . Do any of you know who (Dr)  does this in our (Indy)area?

For my wonderful Elf...I am wearing the Stunning necklace and earrings today...I have had so many compliments on it already! :o) I wore a dark green satin Cami top with a mink corduroy blazer and jeans...it  looks great with this! My daughter and I work at the same office downtown Indy and we share our lunch hour watching  TLC's "What not to wear" I am addicted! lol Stacy and Clinton have truly educated me....I have always wore "long" tops and felt comfortable "covered up" well now....I am slowly merging into the shorter tops and blazers...making sure they are fitted at the waist to always accent your smallest part of your figure......lol Told you I was addicted.  LOL
honestly...this show is terrific to understand what looks best with your figure...I don't always agree on the looks they choose but the rules are great and do work for all. Me being the clothes horse that I am, < >  I really enjoy the education....and of course the accessories!  :o) I have so much jewelry and can never get enough! lol

You all have a stupendous day!
Hugs!
Marianne

Marianne,

I've heard that Dr. Gupta does the stomaphyx but I don't know for sure. She's in with Doctors Jones/Cacucci/Diaz.

Good morning Sherri and everyone. I hope that this sunny Thursday is going well for you. May God's many blessings shine down on you all.

I feel like I am at the end of my rope right now. All of this stuff at the church is just beginning to take it's toll on me. I feel overwhelmed right now. I told my friend that I could bite every ones head off and then chew it up and spit it back out at them. I feel like everyone and everything is on my last nerve. I am the one that is going to get the backlash if no one accepts the new Pastor. I still feel like he is the one that is best for the job and I stand on that. Right now that is all I can do.

Today is yet another meeting at the church at 6. I have been on the phone most of the morning doing some last minute things for the last Sunday service with Britt. I feel at times that the phone is hooked to my head. ha ha

Yesterday morning my 90 year old neighbor came knocking at my door before 7 and asked if I would take her to the er. She said that she was having chest pain and arm pain. I got her there before an ambulance would have made it here. We live about 2 minutes away from the er. It ended up the pain in her arm is a nerve thing and all her labs and x rays and ekg was good. They all showed up good for a woman her age. Her granddaughter called me while we were waiting. She talked to Virginia and then she told me that she was confused. She was calling her by her mom's name. She told me that she was in the medical field and knew what she was talking about. I told her that I would make the nurse aware. I then remembered that she worked at~are you ready for this one?~Dunkin' Donuts! I wonder who you get vitals on a donut. I guess you can't take it's temperature in the hole! ha ha I told the nurse the whole story and how she watches her great great grands who are 1 and almost 3 years old. I told her that she is somewhat confused but at 90 I think she would be. She asked me if I see confusion and I told her that honestly I don't see any more than what is usually there. I just don't think that the family takes care of her like they should. She is just a sweet lady and she deserves more than she gets.

I guess I had better get moving. I am sending love and hugs to all and prayers are going up for everyone. Special ones are going up for Gail and those in need of them.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.
