Preop testing..done. surgery 2 weeks from today

EEEEEKKKKKK... time is moving fast.  Two weeks from today will be my surgery and I am nervous.  I had my preop testing today and let's just say yuk about the upper GI..   gag....

Everything went fine but it takes me out of this, it may happen thought, to reality and it is scary....

Any words of wisdom

Just keep positive! Everythings going to be A OK! I'm soo excited for you. I swear it seems like just a few days ago we were talking bout this on SC. I'm excited to be able to cheer you on on your journey and hope that if you need anything you ask!! I'm here.

The nerves that you are having are very much normal! Try to relax and know that you are making the best decision for you! Your journey has begun, hold on and get ready for the ride of your life! It is an awesome journey! Just keep positive thoughts and know that we are all here for ya, rooting and cheering you on! Bumps may arise in ANYONES journey BUT whatever they are and whenever they arrive, IF they do- be prepared and know that this too shall pass! I am here for ya and keep posting! The ???'s will keep coming as the time gets closer and even right after- thats what we are here for!

YAY!!! it does go fast. but this week has seemed like forever :)  i completely understand the upper gi stuff. i was gagging and crying bc i was afraid i wasnt going to be able to get it down!! i am sure the nurse thought i was nuts!! :)  mine is friday!!! i am not working tomorrow and it is really freaking me out now! i know what you are going thru, and hoping it is normal, bc i am the same way!!!!
