They took her to surgery yesterday to repair a broken wrist.  She was doing well with them slowing bringing her off the heavy sedation.  I am waiting to get my update on her condition this morning. 
Thank you again for all the thoughts and prayers.....praying works more than most people realize it does!!!!!

Good Luck with your surgery....I know you will do great!!!!

Good Morning Everyone,

Not much happening today! We had a progressive dinner yesterday with our church and our house was one of the stops, we were stop 2 and done salads, it was a blast! It was great to socialize some too! I can't wait to do that with my OHers! LOL I have missed ya all! Hope to meet some new Hoosier Losers too!

It sure is pretty outside! I am off to open the windows and enjoy the fresh air! My hubby works today so maybe just maybe I will get away without having on the central air- he freezes me out! He says it is payback from before I had my RNY and he had to go outside and defrost from me having on the air conditioners too cold, hehehe, probably true! WHO ME????

My mom and I made some pumpkin muffins on friday, they were so yummy! It was great to have her visit, we don't spend alot of girl time together, so it was fun! She had a 1/2 day of work and since I had my day off after my doc appt. we thought we would do lunch and then bake! Speaking of lunch for those of you on the eastside- we went to go to RJ WINGERS and nope, it is closed down for good- we were both shocked! I loved their salads and they seemed to be doing so well! Oh well, I am sure something else will go in there, it is in a great location!

Anyhow, not much else happening with me! Trying to keep my spirits lifted and and am hoping to enjoy some sunshine today!

P.S. SHERRI- what apple orchard is near you- TUTTLE'S??? Just curious if that was it or if you know of a different one that is CLOSER to me! Hugz Dawn

I went to yahoo's yellow pages and searched for 'orchard'. Tuttle's is 9.7 miles from our house. There's one closer, Orchard Valley Farms that is only 3.1 miles (on Canapple drive). Both were closed today so we didn't go check out either one. That'll have to wait till next Friday. Either one is closer than what Anderson's Orchard in Moorsville was though.

Good sunday morning all!
  Boy did I sleep in. I need to run to Wally world and pick me up some Body fortress, I just finished up my container on my Greek yogurt/protein powder/kashi apple cereal bar concotion. OHH so yummy!

Terry just called and said Bell is on her way to the Columbus Ohio zoo w/ her aunt and cousin, OHh I am so jealous! I love that zoo.

I have Saturday off this week, so I can stay as long as I want to at the clothing exchange on saturday! I have a couple bags to bring. I still can't believe I have anything left to bring but I manage to find a couple things here and there all the time.

Ohh Miss Gail I am so excited for you this week is your big week. What hospital will you be at, I do want to come and see you!

I was SSTTUUPPIIDD yesterday and decided to " celebrate" the fact That I woke up at 154 yesterday morning. I had some Hot fudge sundae at work. Hmm I say about 8 bites if that. I was SICKER than a DOG for 45 minutes after. A trip to the bathroom shortly insued! SO I make this DISCLAIMER: for those I have ever told that I don't dump: I DO! IT"S NOT PLEASANT! I had a great day yesterday, Sherri & I picked up some real bargain's at yard sells. No apples but some great popcorn, it was yummy. And dinner was full of fellowship.Floyd & Brenda,Janene & Mark, Sherri & Bill.
I really didn't need food just visiting does a world of good for me.I had a great time. Feel better Brenda & Floyd,  and have a great time next week.
Linda Kay & Melissa, my daughter went crazy with all the clothes I got Busy "B" & Hannah. I need to talk with you Melissa. Give me a call when you can. Busy "B' is Brianna. She's a hand full, in those terrible " 2"  .   Well my surgery is Thursday on the 2nd, I have a lot of different feeling going on.
I wish a super and relaxing day if possible for all.

Where has the day gone?  It is 2:00 already.  I've been trying to catch up on posts and e-mails all morning since we were gone all week with no internet connections.  We got back last night from Tawas State park in MI.  It is a beautiful park if any of you other campers are looking for a place to go.  I guess it is really busy in the summer since it is on lake Huron but this week was nice and quiet since all the kiddies are in school.  I'll post a couple of pics from there.  I'm bac to work tomorrow for 3 days then we are off for Clifty Falls SP at Madison for 4 days.  We have all the laundry done and the RV  repacked ready to take off again.  Just need to pick up a few last min groceries.  Then I have to work a WHOLE week before I take another full week off.  We are going to Turkey Run for 2 nights then McCormicks creek for 2 nights.  That is about all the excursions we have planned for the fall.  

Sounds like some of you have been going through some rough times. For you accident prone people.  SHAPE UP NOW.  I'm not the most gracefull thing out there but so far but I've managed to not beat myself up too bad. 

We got pleanty of exercise while in Mich.  The SP is 4 miles from town so we road our bikes into town each day.  Plus the hours I spent walking up and down the sandy beach by myself.  I could have spent the entire day walking the beach.  It was so peaceful.  I pick up lots of small flat stones to paste on my scrapbook pges for the beach. 

I'm being a bum today, I really need to get up and do something.  I made chili for tonight and did a load of laundry, but that is it.  DH just left to go for a walk and made me feel guilty for not going with him.  I should have but just don't feel like doing anything. 

Well I think I'll go out and pick up walnuts before DH mows.  Maybe if I get out and get some fresh air I'll have more energy.  SYL

Howdy Posse!

I LOVE SUNDAY'S!!!!! Got up early this morning...put stuff in the crock pot for stew...went back to bed with my hubby, Mark...woooooooohoooo I am so glad he is home! rolled outta bed at 8:30 and made coffee. We shared oatmeal and coffee, got dressed and went to church. After church we went to Marion...and OMG I spurged...ate a Jr. burger with jalapenos at Sonic! YUMMMMMMY...then we went to the mall and walked around abit and got a few bargains at Steve and Barry's...they are going out of business. Zach has to work tonight so Mark and I might head out to WALMART.

Last night was WONDERFUL! I LOVE getting together with Floyd, Brenda, Sherri, Bill and Gail! We had a great fellowship and the food was wonderful Mark and I got home about 11:00pm.
