I've fallen & can't get up- can't believe my luck!!!!

OMG, this am (7:30) I was helping my daughter set up her Diva Girls booth, went to help her plug in her cord, didn't see a TINY step,- & fell FLAT ON MY CHIN/NOSE! I SAW STARS, AND MY FACE IS A HORRIBLE MESS!!!! The lady who called the Medics said she heard a horrible cracking noise & thought I broke my arm! NOPE- but maybe my nose! My neck, chin, nose, lips all swollen and  is killing me- I look like I have been in a horrible fight!!! People came by all day to see the lady with the ice pack on her face- what a sight!!!! I am suppose to have dental work done on Fri.but doubt I'll be able to now. My teeth took a hard jarring, so may have a problem there.  My daughter took a photo of my face, then a photo with me wearing a bandana over my face-  if I can I'll post it on here.
Of course, there was no sign that there was a step there- and someone said" I'd sue them". (Penny is a paralegal, so of course I'd have great representation- but I'm not the sueing kind)
Well, I did ask they paint it an put a railing there- so no one else gets hurt. I just hope tomorrow I can wear lots of makeup to church!!!
Just keep me in your thoughts for quick healing- please!Thank goodness for Icy Hot, & my migrane pills!!!!

Umm OUCH!! (( HUGS )) to you.. I guess as far as the bruising and swelling we could probably be twins about now huh?? I hope you feel better soon darling.

Oh yeah Shanna- I'm the" vice" all right!!!!! DH said- "I hope people don't think I did that!!!!!" I told him after 43 yrs. it's not about to happen now!Poor guy, he has been soooo sweet to me today- even went & got my meds. and ice pack, plus cold water several times.
Ok girls, that does it- we have had our fair share- enough, right??!!Lets all finish the month healthy- "K??!!

I am sorry to hear of your fall! I do hope that you are comfortable soon and that your nose really isn't broke! Hopefully they take into consideration your request and get that painted soon! Oh, I hope you're feeling better soon. I can relate. I could be the secretary for your club. I have broken my leg, and my wrist as an adult, just falling by walking!

OUCH!!!!!! That had to hurt. Sorry to hear that you are in pain.  Hope things heal quickly.

Oh honey, that sounds so much like something I would had done! Err....have done. The very worse sprang I ever had was falling down one stair. I twisted it just right I guess. Ummmm...then there's the time that the deck's stairs broke. I should have taken that as a hint that I needed to lose weight, huh? but noooooooo...I was just thrilled that I didn't break my cigarette on the way down!

i'm glad Dana is pampering you. We all need that sometime...but it'd be better if it weren't because of you looking like Rocky the Racoon, huh?
