What a day what a day

This morning I got up and took our doggie Samantha the Diva Beagle to the groomer, she gets a bath once a month so that they can clean her ears and cut her nails.  I learned a long time ago that we are too soft to do it.  If she complains at all, we cave like a cheap tent.  My family wanted doughnuts, so I traipsed across town to Long's for doughnuts, that is something I still won't mind doing after the surgery, doughnuts are not my thing so I won't mind being around them at all.

I wanted to get my carwashed, inside and out, so I thought this morning was a good time.  Of course, after I got in line and had paid for the service, the machine broke down and it took them a good 30 minutes to get it fixed.  By the time I got through with that process, it was an hour later because they were so backed-up.

I use a digital camera in conjunction with my job and my camera broke last week so I knew that I needed to get another one.  Just another expense I did not want right now but you gotta do what you gotta do.  So my next destination was Fry's electronics, hoping to find what I needed at a decent price.  I found one and booked out of there before I was tempted to buy something I really couldn't afford.  I would like to get a MP3 player to use while I exercise but I need to do more research before making a purchase.

Then it was back to the groomer to pick-up the diva and go home.  I have at least gotten a load of laundry done (another one to go) and fixed my husband's lunch before he left for work.  And I managed to get my Mom to eat a bite.  Now I am taking a much needed football break and watching the Notre Dame game before I start on the next tasks for today namely, putting away laundry and dishes, fixing dinner and running the vaccum.

I could really use a day off.  Or a nap.

But still loyal to OLE'P.U.!!    GO PURDUE!!!!! Oh well it has been a wonderful day for me I went to the Atlanta Earth Festival and bought 2 big jar candles. They smelled YUMMY! Well take a nap in the 4th quarter because I think " THe Fighting Irish " have it in the bag!

We can use every victory we can get.  The Irish have been struggling.  And the QB Clausen can give the game away at any moment.
