Just wanted to say I'm home

The "conscious sedation" didn't really sedate me. I felt a lot of it and they had to stop a few times. It eased my nerves some because I can't handle people's hands that close to my face so it helped some but I still knew and felt what was happening. :| I don't know what the deal was if it was because I have had so many scopes or what but I was like fully aware most of the time. It took like 14 tubes of LOCAL anasthesthia and there was a lot of diggin. I'm in loads of pain. I'm still bleeding really bad though so I'm kinda concerned because surgery ended like 2.5-3 hours ago and I'm having to change my gauze every 5-10 mins still even though they stitched me up completely.

I think one of the teeth were in my sinus cavity because my nose won't quit running and it's kinda aggitating me but overall things went ok.

I never realized how bad teeth effected your overall health as well and I figured this is my year to get healthy. :) Plus I want to be that "trophy wife" my husband thinks he has heheh...

They had to do some digging and I'm stitched all the way left to right top and bottom. The bleeding is finally eased up but I think most of the pain I'm having is from the grinding down the bone or something like that??? The worst spots are where the knots in the stitches are too, OUCH.

Also they gave me 10 MG liquid lortab and it hurts a lot worse than what I had for my last tummy surgery (I've been having ulcer like symptoms for a couple weeks but Marta just changed my acid reducer med back to prescription and stuff hoping it would help with Carafate) and man I bout cried when It ook it earlier so I guess I'll have to dilute it or something.

Glad you are home. I called your house to check on you, but at the time, you may not have gotten home yet.  Hope the bleeding stops, and you get past the pain quickly!  Take care and ttyl!

I'm doing okay. The bleeding has slowed but not stopped. OOOH I wish I was numb still though. :| The pain meds aren't even hardly touching a couple areas. i look like I've been beat up because I'm pretty swollen. Hopefully this is the worst of it though...

Bless your heart!  To me there's nothing quite like mouth pain.  Hope you heal soon.

Thanks.. The pain before was pretty intense as well but I had learned to deal with it, YIKES this is a total different kind of pain.

I hope you pain has eased and you are able to rest.  Be sure to do what the doctor has said.  Just think when it's all over you'll have a smile to be proud of.

Take Care.
