The Mitchell Persimmon Festival is going on this weekend still.  It is about 45 minutes south of Bloomington on IN 37.  We had alot of fun, and there was quite a few things to see.  Enjoy where ever you wind up!

Sat and Sunday there is an Apple Festival at Anderson Orchard 2.5 miles West of Mooresville. Take Main Street West out of town and follow the signs... There is a craft fair and all kinds of neat stuff to do at Andersons and good food and apple slushes...and APPLES!!!  And a little further west of Andersons is my house... I am having a garage sale!!

Hello all.....

Up and at em with babies today.

Funeral arrangemnets are made so we are slowly working our way towards that.  They ran a bunch of tests on Aunt Donna last evening and have decided they need to take her to surgery to repair the artery that feeds her liver.  Asking that we continue to lift her up in prayer for a quick recovery.

I have my moments where I do ok, and then I completely lose it.....

Off to drink some new protein, hoping I like it and can get it down.

Not much going on with me today, its my two month surgiversary. I posted some pics if anyone would care to see.  I am going to get up in my sewing room today and start working on some xmas gifts.  I have tons of fabrics and threads so no excuses.   I think I will start by working on a quilted wall hanging for the exchange at my aunts house.  Then work on two rag quilts for my granddaughters. 

Linda I sent you an email.  I am hoping to make it to the Anderson apple orchard this weekend.  I stopped by there last weekend and got lots of goodies so I dont really need anything but I wanted to go and see the crafts.  Also on my way out on Sunday I tried a plum and boy was it yummy, so I would love to have a few of those.

Good morning everyone, or at least what's left of it.  I don't know if it's the weather changing but I stay so tired lately.  I usually in bed by 9 and up anywhere from 3:30 to 3:45.  Leave for work at 5:00. 

We are going to hit the Earth Festival in Atlanta this weekend.  I would like to get out to Greenfield to Riley Days over Oct 4th weekend.  We lived there when my son was growing up and had such a good time every year.

Sounds like everyone is so busy with their lives.  So many needs, medical issues, prayer requests.  I hope and pray that God supplies all of you with whatever and wherever in your lives you need HIs touch you feel it abundantly.

Hi everyone,
 I am finally getting on here- been busy catching up from all of last weekends activities. My friends birthday is today, so going to drop in on her for awhile & celebrate, then get a few groceries- mother hubbard's cupboards are bare!!!! its bad when the only thing I have is Hamburger Helper- yuck!
 
Oh, this weekend is -FESTIVAL OF THE TURNING LEAVES, here- so my daughter Penny is going to have a booth with her Diva Girl Purses,accessories, & stuff, & I'll be busy too. If you are in town, stop by her booth & say Hi. Alot to do today, so I'll talk to you all later.

I am really late posting today. I have been on the phone talking with a dear Friend. He is 1 year sober and was having a tough day. I told him I would be here if he needs me and I will. I am now playing catch up on some things I needed to get done, but he came first.

Babysitting today AGAIN...this is the last day for a week I HOPE...I do have a job interview MAYBE tonight at the church for a secretary...PRAY PRAY PRAY! I can't handle babysitting anymore!  LOL

I have always felt that anyone who does a good job babysitting (ie, not letting the TV be the babysitter!) is a far stronger person than I am! I love my kids but if kids were only born if they were planned....well..I would have never been lucky enough to be a Mamaw so I guess it's a good thing that God lets 'oops' happen, huh?

If you have time after the last kid goes home & before your interview, draw you a nice bubble bath and relax in it with a good stiff cup of hot tea. After a day of babysitting, you probably need some time to unwind some! LOL!

We always go to the Atlanta festival every year.  We are going on Sunday.  But I like the sound of this APPLE festival.  How big is it?  Are there a lot of crafts?
