I used to live near cumberland on the east side of Indy.  Now I am a westsider.  This forum is great.  I am 11 days out of surgery and don't know what I would've done if it wasn't for everyone here to keep me sane and make me feel like I am not going through this alone.

Everyone needs in support in whatever they do.

I'm probably late posting this, but I just wanted to offer a friendly welcome to you.  I think you will find there are many supportive and encouraging people on here that really know their stuff.   We have the same surgeon.  I am still in the approval process.  Good luck on  your journey! 

Well as it stands now mine has been postponed for 12 weeks. Was suppose to have it Monday. GRRR

Surprised to see you online.  Glad I'm not the only night owl.  Having your surgery postponed for that long must be frustrating.  I know from my experience, I'm just ready to get the show on the road!  Hopefully whatever issue is standing in the way, it will be resolved quickly and you will be able to continue forward with your journey to becoming a healthier you!

One of my blood test in the pre op tests came back that I am low on blood. Dr. G did a colonoscopy and EGD and had to do another blood test. Well she found a couple of things but not what she was looking for.

So had to see a hematologist and *donated* 7 more viles of blood. That makes about 20 now. GRRR No wonder I am low. LOL So we go back on the 1st for the results of those.

Blessings...off to work on my stitching and warm up. BRRR
