One year ago today.....................

I can't believe that it has been one year since my journey began. I have lost 149lbs and I am 13 lbs away from goal. I was hoping to make it to goal by today however................. I have found that my hunger has returned and so has the snacking. I am working hard to get that under control. I am excercising regularly and actually enjoying it. I have gone from a tight size 24 to a size 8 or 10. I have tons of energy and feel great. My only regret is that I waited so long to make this life changing decision. I am alive for the first time in my 45 year old life. I am so thankful to God, my family and my OH family for the support over the past year.

Congratulations--wow what a great year. My husband and I have our first meeting next week and are hoping to have the surgery soon. Just the things you were saying mean a lot to us as we occasionally wonder if we are doing the right thing. Thanks, Terry

Thanks for the note of encouragement. My husband is a little over 3 years out. I was one of the best things we did for our marriage. Good Luck to you both and keep me informed.
