Good Monday Morning to YALL!
I guess I will start the mornings thread. I haven't started one in forever. I haven't been to bed yet. I just got home from work about 45 minutes ago and wanted to drink my protein smoothie before bed. I wasn't hungry for dinner so I didn't eat and needed to get all my protein in before bed.

I am on days this week so I will be back in the land of the living...LOL.
Sunday is my day off. Tyler has a game tonight at Roncalli. I am going to freeze my Bootie-off, I can already feel it. I am sitting here wrapped up in a fuzzy blanket.
How about that Colts game, yesterday. What a nail biter. I went into work at 3:00. We have sirius satelite at work so we can listen to the games on the radio and I didn't get any work done until after the Game. WHew!
Its was just a little windy here in Indy but nothin' too bad.( atleast on the southwest side) SOunds like some of you must of had some bad storms.

EVerybody have a great Monday...be safe and hope all the newbie post-ops are doing well. Check in with us and let us know how you are doin'!

Gooooooooooooooood Morning.... Well I've not been to bed but either way it doesn't matter hehe..

Almost 3 a.m. and I'm tired and exhausted but can't quite sleep yet. My tummy is acting up and sore tonight though. Some of it is nervousness too though. I have my first hematologist appointment this afternoon!! I'm excited but nervous. Excited to finally be closer to getting some energy and my anemia issues under control.

Tomorrow I have a photo shoot to do for an ex coworker. :) I did one yesterday too and it's really exciting. I'm getting psyched up and learning more on my camera to do my SIL's wedding in January too. Fun stuff. :)

Good morning all! How are you all doing today? I hope everyone's making all right through the weather we've been having. My grandmotherin NW IN got 6 inches of water in her basement! My parents are up there too, but didn't get as much water in their basement. Here in Terre Haute, we fared it pretty well this time.

I'm up early and boiling some eggs. Had a hankering for that this morning. I have to get the family up in a bit. It's almost 5:30, for Mike and the the kids at 6am. TOday's another day of work. I see my counselor this evening though. Hopefully that will help with my blues I've been in lately. I guess it's a good sign though, because even with that going on, I've been functioning, and getting done the things I need to be getting done. Going to work every day and such.

Well,.. talk to ya'll later.

Good morning all.  Hope that everyone fared better than we did down here.  It was a wild time, and not in a good way either!  Lots of damage everywhere, thankfully none here at our house.  Our power was off for 15 HOURS, and talk about hard to keep an 8 1/2 year old, and a 7 year old occupied for that length of time!  We went outside after I got home from work, and made a fire in the grill, and cooked hotdogs and marshmallows....then we had a couple friends come out, and stayed with us, just as if we were all camping.  All in all, we made it ok, just found the power outages to be an inconvenience.  It could have been worse, and I praise God that it wasn't here!
The girls are getting ready to go to school, and Jimmy has to work in a little bit too.  I have housework to do, and bills to pay, and then I have a surprise bachelorette party this evening!  Talk about fun!  I can't wait!
Have a great day all!  Take care, and stay safe!

Good morning all!

I've been at work for a few hours...just going through all my Google alerts. I am so glad Ike is finally a memory. On the NE side of Indy, we had some strong winds but not much beyond that. We saw alot of branches down and even a few trees. The trees looked like they were rotten so probably no wonder that a swift wind could take care of them. I think most people kept power however there were some stop lights out. At least most people did remember their Kindergarden lessons and took turns. I only noticed one idiot that didn't. You know that there is always one in every group of people.

We took Shyanne & Shelly to Chuck E Cheese yesterday. They enjoyed themselves. Bill &I? Well...we decided that was the last time we were going to go there. We both were a nervous wreck and hammering headaches by the time we got out of there. Has no one ever heard the term 'indoor voice'??? They were yelling & screaming & running (yes, literally running!) in there...and I am talking about the ADULTS! It's no wonder their kids behaved so poorly. Of course, Shelly didn't notice since she was in playland with Shyanne ..... for an hour and a half!!! Finally, Bill & I went out to the truck and waited for them there.

We got the TV stand put together. It's a pretty sturdy piece of furniture. It has a cherry finish and two glass doors. Bill got all the accesories disconnected, the tv moved out of the way, and the stand put in it's place...and then we reconnected the accesories. It's all ready for the new tv! It should be delivered early this afternoon. They are going to haul our old one away with them. It wasn't dead yet but definately on it's last legs I think.

The only thing I didn't get completely figured out was this tax issue from 2006. I'll try to work on it some more when I get home tonight if I'm not too tired. We'll see. I have to run by Kroger on my way home since I didn't bother going this weekend (we were busy..sounds good, huh?). So..by the time I'm here for ~11 hours and then deal with the idiots that are always at the store, we'll see. I may just want to prop my feet up and enjoy that new TV some.

I hope you all have a terrific day today!!

Good morning all!
It was windy here in Albany yesterday, nothing major though.  I didnt notice any power outages.  Got to work this morning and our cable is out here. I called the cable company and they are working on it.  It better be back on before my soaps come on at 12:30...lol.
DH and I went to Red Lobster yesterday for our anniversary dinner.  I had the fettuccini stuff with crab meat in it and a salad. It was yummo!  Brought most of it home though and brought it for lunch today.
I have meetings tonight at work so I wont get out of here till probably 9pm or so.  I hate the 3rd Monday of the month.  Oh well glad it only comes around once a month.
Hope everyone has a great day!

Morning All!
Shanna, you picture looks fantastic! Way to go!
I am doing great! I cut back on my sweets and all sugars last Monday, upped my protein and water and dropped 6 1/2 pounds! Wow it feels like being a newbie again! lol I am determined to get my weight on the low end before the holidays! I read a really interesting article on weight loss failure and regain. It was for weight loss in general and not WLS specific, but it applied so well! When we are losing it is so easy to keep "high" as the numbers keep moving when you are just trying to maintain it is so much harder as the Wow's aren't in supply like during the losing stage. They say it is so easy to say a little of this and a little of that won't really hurt me until slowly the weight creeps back on. How true is this! lol I have lied to myself in those same terms and now that I am refocusing on WHY I had the surgery to begin with and realizing that my weight is a life long battle and every choice has a consequence...good or bad.....I do better looking for smaller goals....I want to drop weight before the holidays so if I choose to indulge some in the goodies I won't be set back to where my clothes are tight. Bottom line..I had this surgery to keep my knees as healthy as possible and I owe it to myself to maintain. I feel so strong and so much better just saying NO this past week that now it is soooo much easier. For those of you out there maintaining, keep your focus and base your joy one succeeding for your original reason for the surgery. We tend to get caught up in the physical perks that it is so easy to lose sight of the healthy reasons! :o) I just wanted to share! :o)
Hugs to you all !
