Is everyone okay?

I was just checking on everyone.
We just got our electric back on some of our neighbors still have none.
We lost our pool and gazebo and trampoline,all can be replaced so i consider ourselves lucky..
We only got a small amount of rain and no school tomorrow...
But wanted to see if everyone is alright...
 

We're living and doing okay! :) Lots of trees down but didn't lose power for more than 4 mins here and there.

We lost power at 11:45 am on Sunday, and finally got power back on at 3:20 AM this morning! Talk about a wild day!  We had to run on generator power at the casino, and that isn't strong enough to run the Air Conditioning, so it was sweltering in there.  People were getting sick and a couple of guests even passed out due to the temp.  They didn't want to leave their machines long enough to get some water and cool off outside.  Go figure.
We didn't have any damage at all.  Just a few limbs down here at the house, but in town is a different story.  We didn't get near as bad as Louisville did tho, so keep praying for everyone there as well.  I hope that Lee Ann is ok. I know Salem got hit really hard too. I will try to call her later this morning.

We are all ok but our house has some damage.  Just the roof and siding though.  Nothing structurally.  We still have no electricity and no sign of when it will be back on.  Thankfully, work has it on so I can have some coffee!!!!!

We were at church when it hit.  We had our homecoming service yesterday so it was an unusually large crowd.  My dad, daughter, mom and I were getting the food ready to serve in our fellowship hall across the street from the church while local singers were entertaining the crowd.  The wind really picked up so my dad said to tell everyone to come on over and eat.  We no more got everyone moved over when a huge gust of wind ripped through.  It took the entire roof off the church!  I'm going to try to attach some photos but I'm no good at this.  It's so sad.  Of course we're glad no one was injured but it really is a lovely, old church.  How heartbreaking to see it in a pile like that.

We've got power lines down and no electricity still.   No school here today either.  My office has electricity, but we have none at home.  There were trees down everywhere and buildings that lost roofs...talk about some massive winds.

Hello all!

Yesterday's winds were horrible here! There are trees down everywhere here. Power kept popping on and off during the day but thank god it didnt stay off. The wind was so bad it blew my garbage can over. Embarassing! No harm done to the houses around my area, just a ton of debris etc.
This morning I woke up late 8:15, my son had to be at the bus stop at 8:00. Not good. So I went over to the neighbor's house and she told me "No School". Boy I felt stupid LOL.
