Anyone up to the next Edinburgh get together? lets start talking dates.

I'm thinking the first week or so of November or possibly mid November.

If you all wanna start throwing dates out feel free and we'll see what we can get figured out. Hopefully with more notice we can get a bigger crowd. The outlet mall has soo much to offer for everyone and you can start and finish your Christmas shopping because it's got EVERYTHING you could want there pretty much.

We had a great fun time at the last meeting. :)

You know,.. I would love to get to go to this,... but I work at 4:30pm on Saturdays. How early do you all meet?

Linda, our last meeting was at like 11:00 at Max & Ermas for lunch (which was very good and they let you order off the kids menu, a few of us got the kids grilled chicken and broccoli and it was like 4.00 each for a meal, obviously with a good tip it was a few bucks more but just letting you know) and we were all on our way if not home by 4:30 I believe. Edinburgh is like exit 67 off of 65 soo depending how far you are from there I'm sore noone would be offended if you had to leave early. Would probably do around the same time BUT thats why i want to plan it so far in advance so that people can save and we can get a GOOD date and time for everyone. :)

You could even go over and peek round (I think most the stores open at like 9:30 ish or to) and then go for lunch and come back since it can be very overwhelming.

I have been there tons of times, and have friends coming in from CA that are talking bout moving to IN and I mentioned it and how huge it was and all that fun stuff and she she was so excited that she could look at the website and see all the announced sales and stuff and also make sure she made it to EVERY store that she wanted to. :)

I think Brenda & Floyd said that they have terrific deals there on Black Friday...the day after Thanksgiving. The stores open pretty early that day. If you're thinking about November, you might want to think about going on that day. Yeah, it'd be WAY more crowded, but you'd get better deals.

Thanks!  We might have to get 2 groups together to go lol. The sane and the insane for that one. LOL I'm good to tough out the crowds, my DH and all wouldn't lol. But we may have to do something like that. I'm sure someone is brave enough. heheh

I personally wouldn't be able to attend if it was on a weekend. My days off are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday now, so those days are my only options.  You may not run into as big crowds if you go during the week, but then again, I don't know exactly how busy they get during the holidays either.  Just a suggestion.

:) I'm hoping with enough notice if we do a week day that enough folks have enough time to take off if they need or vice verse. Also like I mentioned in the above post, there wouldn't be anything wrong with doing one on a weekend for folks who can't come during the week and one on a week day. I prefer the weekday because of the crowds but I'm willing to do whatever. :) I really need some OH fellowship in the near future and I don't know that I am gonna be able to make the clothing exchange because it won't be much longer than a week after my oral surgery and I always take soo darn long to heal from anything. :( Plus I will be embarrassed to be in public some what because of being tooothless and I should have my new smile round mid Nov. or so.

I would probably be able to take off a weekday by mid-November. I would love to be able to go.

Our last one was on a Monday and worked GREAT!! It will be even nicer now that School is back in session and we have run of the stores.. I got a lot of stuff and saved$$$  3 pr of designer jeans for the girls for 2.99 each!! Of course they were size 3'Ts...
And some good stuff for me.. I know Melissa wants to go to the next one..

I'm game... we could always do this once a month now that CHRISTMAS is so close...
