Revision surgeon

This is a huge step that we shouldn't take lightly.Good for you!!  You're taking your time to make sure that this is the right move for you!!  This is undoubetdly a recipe for success no matter what you choose!!  Good luck to you as well!

I think I've read somewhere that Dr. Inman isn't doing RNY to DS revisions. Soo if you had RNY originally then you can try but don't get upset if she wont do it. She prefers to revise the RNY to a DISTAL RNY i believe which is more malabsorption.
However Dr Husted from CA does do the RNY to DS revisions on a case by case situation and her recently relocated to Somerset Kentucky which depending where you live is a few hours away.

Hello!  Thanks for the information (even though I hope you're wrong )  At least i'll be prepared for her answer!  Unfortunately Dr. Husted is NOT on my list of allowable surgeons from my insurance company.    I also read your blog and saw that you are suffering from post surgery anemia as well.  Since my surgery i'v had to receive iron injections every two weeks from my pcp.  I feel your pain!  Keep us posted on what the specialist recommends for you.  thanks again for your input!!!
