Thursday........yippie!
Hope everyone is doing well today. I am up and ready to get the girls on the bus, and then it is off to work for me. Always a joy! I am just glad that I am physically able to work, and have a job.
I want to take a moment to remember all those lost on 9-11. It is so hard to believe that 7 years ago our lives changed in an instant. God Bless all the souls lost, and even more of those still dealing with the issues even this many years later.
God Bless, and have a wonderful day!
At Goal! 165 pounds gone forever! Thank you Lord!

Good morning everyone!
Wow..already been here at work for ~2 hours. These early morning hours seem to fly by. I'll be leaving at 1:30 though so I can pick up Bill and then us head to Dr. Gupta's. Tonight, we're having dinner at Bennigan's with Floyd & Brenda. It'll be nice to see them again.
It's hard to believe that it's been 7 years since 9/11. I remember growing up and adults knowing exactly where they were and what were doing when JFK and/or Dr. MLK were assasinated. I remember my dad saying how he about drove off the rode when they announced on the radio about JFK. On 9/11, I was sitting in a waiting room while Bill was having an eye surgery. He told me later that he overheard some nurse talking about it in the hallway. In the waiting room, everyone was crowded around a tv they had in there and all stood there in shock when the 2nd plane made contact with the towers. I guess that's a sign of me getting older...huh? To remember exactly where I was and what I was doing for something like that. I do think back to that day every time Bill has an eye surgery now.
I talked with Gail for a little while last night. She was really hoping that John (her sil) would be able to get her back online quick. She's getting anxious for 10/2 to get here so she can have her hernia taken care of & get her abdoplasty done.
Well all...have a terrific day today!

It seems like yesterday that all this happened with 9/11. Prayers go out to those serving our country and their families. I know I am thankful for them so that I can raise my kids in a better place because of them.
Hope everyone has a great day and remember to give love, hugs, and prayer to those people that are in your heart and mind. Peace out......

Mornin all,
Been so busy at work since we got back from vacation. Also busy with doctors appointments. Brenda saw a specialist about her torn rotator cuff and she got a shot of steroids. I went and had an extensive consultation with a sports chiropractor about my herniated disk. I go again next week for the results and his recommendations before I call the Spine Center back to schedule the spinal block. The pain I'm experiencing seems to gradually worsen day by day. It's to the point that Brenda is doing the majority of the driving.
We're having a 9-11 ceremony at work this morning, so plan on attending it.
Looking forward to seeing Sherri and Bill again tonight. It seems like it's been a long time since we've seen them.
Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning all!
Got a late start this morning. Got up late....ugh! Just messes my whole day up. The girls dont seem to understand were running late, move fast.
Oh well, at least I got them to the bus stop on time.
I go to my PCP tomorrow about this lump I found. So hopefully I will know something when I post tomorrow.
Pretty much nothing else going on.
Dont forget to take a moment and think about our troops today and everyday for that matter. Thank you for our freedom and God Bless You All!

Good morning: Work is strating off slow this morning for a change. I have a lot of paper work that I need to be working on, but is has waited a week, it can wait a little longer.
Great to see your smiling face back on here again Lachelle! You were missed. Wish we could have met when we were in French lick. I didn't think to look up your number before I left and I didn't have internet service while we were gone. It's awful to have become so addictied to this piece of equipment.
It is sad that certain tragedies happen that can leave such scars in our memories. I remember exactly what I was doing on 9/11. I also remember the day JFK was shot. I was in the 4th grade and an announcement came across the speakers at school. We had a TV rolled into our room and watched some of the news coverage. I remember (like after 9/11) there was constant news coverage of everything. That was all that was on TV for a couple of weeks. I pray to never have another day like that etched into my memory.
Ellen: Good luck with your party, wish I could join you but we are having a party of our own and expecting 80-100 people. I made carmel corn last night and plan to make two more batches tonight. Also making 2 doz deviled eggs and 4 boxes of brownies. Tomorrow I'll put 4 pork roasts in the crocks to make pulled pork, Also making 15 pounds of sloppy joes and 40-50 hotdogs. Baked beans, pasta salad, and a few other odds and ends others will be brining and we will be set. I think Sunday I will sleep---all day--- .
Have a great Thursday everyone.

Hi Everyone,
Today is a day of reflection for all of us who love our country & what it stands for.I too can remember where I was at the moment JFK;MLK; and the 9-11 tragedys happened. I think daily of the sacrifices our Firemen,Police, Rescue/EMt's ,Soldiers, everyday citizens, and those who have given their lives for our country. The world is full of evil, but we are so fortunate to live in this country. Sometimes we take the littlest things for granted- lets take a moment and thank God for all of our blessings." the Lord is near to all who call upon His name".
I am going to exercise today
& she is going to do a body analysis of where I am now. It has been a month since I have joined & I can tell already that I am changing sizes- some of my pants are looser and fit nicer.
Afterwards, I am going to stop & get some things for the party. I am just hoping it doesn't rain! The grandkids will be here, & I hope they can play outside!!!!
I had a wonderful time with the girls here Tues. I just wish time hadn't flown so fast! Our study this time is so good- I am learning more every day. I don't know why I stress about the "little things" like the wallpaper coming off in the bathroom
, or the house in continual repair/remodel! No one cares, but me. Oh well, it has been the story of our lives living here- 40+ yrs. of construction- & I don't think we will ever be completely done!
Floyd, please take care- if the pain is extreme, go to your Dr. -I lost use of my right leg/couldn't walk- that is a sure sign of something more. Take care buddy, I'm praying for you. Oh, I did pm. Scott. Have a good time with Sherri & Bill tonight !
Jan, wanna cook for me? I am just getting to the point I don't enjoy it like I use to.Sounds like you are going to have a big crowd- don't wear yourself out- ok?
Have a great day everyone- hope that all the newbies are doing well there first few days out- they are rough, but do get better!

Good Morning peeps....
Are there days were you are pretty sure you posetd on the daily thread and then realized you didn't? Anywho...I am off work today....Thank you Heavanly father! I am sooo tired! I can tell its almost b12 shot time. Usually a couple days before I am feelin' it. I am so tempted to do it today, but I absolutley want to stick to the 16th. I am just gonna up a few of my vitamins until then. I am still hurtin' BIG TIME from my fall last week, I bruised my Tailbone last wed. and I swear It hurts worse today than a few days ago.
7 years ago today I had just put Tyler on the school bus and walked back into my Bedroom to get ready for work and was watching the Today show and the second plane was just flying into the second tower. I remeber the day so vivdly. The sky was so quiet and Blue as the Ocean. I live right near the airport so there is always 1 or 2 planes in the sky at anyone time. That day Not a single one on my way to work. At that time I worked on Rockville road. it was very Eeerry! Tyler would have been 9. wow I can't believe that first year went so slow...but then time started flying by. I just wish all the troops can come home. Being a military wife then I wasn't at all scared about Terry being called up. He never did, though a handful Of his reserve buddies did. They would come and go for many years.
Yesterday was a very bad day food wise for me. I grazed allday long and not on very good things. Today I am back on track. Marrianne, I am with you, If we can get through 2 weeks of no sugar, we should be okay. I
Antoinette: I pulled out that box of clothes you had given me back at the Pampered Chef party last spring....I can wear most items, A few of them are too big now! I had Terry put the box up and then I forgot about them. I found them today. Thank God because I needed a few of the bras in there! LOL I am gonna pass on a few of the things at the Clothing exchange. I have started my bag now, I need jammies.....I have been hititn' Goodwill like crazy. Yesterday I hit the one up on 82nd. The outlet. I got 3 shirts for me and 3 for Bella for $3.75 total! But I just hate the diggin' but it wasn't tooo bad this time! I wanted to grab more and just bring them to the exchange, I am broke right now until payday tommorrow though. I have a shopping addicition and should become a personal shopper for all of you!
Wow I have typed up a book this afternoon! I will talk to you all later....

I MY RNY!
Hello All,
I can barely make it on here anymore. Work has been crazy and it's going to get crazier. I got a promotion, but I'm doing the same thing I was doing (my lead transferred off of our team) so now I'm basically doing two jobs until they back fill behind me. My boss talked like it will be the first of the year before that happens. That wouldn't be so bad if we weren't heading into our busiest time! Oh well, I guess that is what they are paying me the big bucks for now (or at least they will be once the paper work goes through!
)
Shanna - I assume you are doing the shots because the sublinguals don't work well for you. Did you know there is a B-12 patch available on line? You place it right behind your ear or on the back of your neck and wear it for 24 hours once a week. It might keep you from feeling that let down between shots. If it works well for you, you could probably replace the shots with it. Just go to www.b12patch.com it runs about $25 per month (I know the sublinguals are cheaper, but if they don't work for you this might be a good alternative).
I hope everyone has had a good day. It is a sad day, but also a day to celebrate how quickly we can and will pull together to support each other in times of need. I remember making my family crawl into bed with me that night (husband, 7 yr old son & 5 month old daughter) and we watched Cartoon Network. I had "information overload" and couldn't stand to hear another word. I just needed to have my family right there were I could touch them and feel safe for a little while. I felt so bad for all the people who had lost family members or who didn't yet know what had become of their missing family members that I just needed to be close to mine. 9/11 was definitely a defining moment for our generation and I hope that my children never have to experience such a moment in their lifetime.
Have a good evening everyone.
