Stomaphyx--anyone scheduled to have it or already have it?

I had the RNY 6 years ago, but in the past 2 years I have gained back 50 pounds, even though I still eat small portions.  I gain and lose 5 pounds here and there.  I have been researching the Stomaphyx and waiting for its arrival to the U.S. and just found out that Dr. Gupta is doing it--so I am trying to get an appointment.  Just wondering if anyone in Indy has had it-and how they are doing? Also wondering about those, like me, who are considering it and if we can form a support group for our issues?  I am on the westside.

Stomaphyx is the latest procedure for those whose stomach stretched a little and who have gained weight following a gastric bypass.  Google it and you will see what it is.  It is done orally through your mouth and it is a gadget that staples pockets in your existing stomach to make it a small as it was when you had the original procedure--so it can help you lose that weight and maybe a little more.  I started out at 365 pounds, then had the RNY 7 years ago, got down to 230 pounds, then gained 50, so I am now back at 280 pounds.  Yeah, I made some mistakes- mostly mental and didn't exercise enough--but I have had several years of counseling and working on the mental- so I am good to go now.
