xpost: update on me
i am home. they sent me home late yesterday afternoon. i am doing ok but the adhesions that were removed were kind of large and i am having quite a bit of pain in those areas. of course i am having trouble finding time to get everything in. lots of things that say..... dont eat with this med, dont take tis med with this other med, dont dink anything at this time and by the way.... you also have to eat,
when the heck are you supposed to sleep???
all in all it hasnt been too bad, never really felt " what did i do" although i guess that could still be coming. i didnt have to come home on lovenox shots as my hemoglobin was a little low. thanks for all well wishes. i am not sure how much i will be on in the next few days (when???) but it shouldnt be too long. congrats for wows, approvals and dates while i was gone and good luck to all the other new postops.

Heidi - welcome to the Hoosier Looser's Bench! Dr. Inman is awesome! Please walk as much as possible and as often as possible. I also was sent home without Lovenox due to some complications during my surgery. I also had my surgery in Dec, so walking outside was not an option. 4 days after I came home, I had 4 blood clots in my lungs! I was back in the hospital again. So don't consider yourself fortunate that you didn't come home with Lovenox. Walk, walk, walk, sip sip sip. There is no way your new little tummy will allow you to get everything in, but make sure that whatever you do get in really counts! Best of luck! Karen
