Closer to time
I think you have to be a little scared. It's normal. But you need to concentrate on the positive things that will be happening to your body soon. It's amazing how quickly the weight starts coming off and how much better you will feel. Looking in the mirror is actually fun now and seeing how clothes fit is fun again.
Be happy and don't worry. The whole journey moves along so quickly and before you know it.... surgery will be behind you and you will be having a huge smile on your face.

Kim, it is perfectly normal to be nervous since it is a life altering surgery. You are going to be going through a lot of change and that is in the back of your mind. If you weren't nervous I would be really concerned about you. Just remember that you are in good hands with you doctor and especially with God at your side. With Him all things are posible.
Know that we are here for you whenever you need us. All you have to do is just call out and there we are. You may not be able to see us but we are there right there by you. And know that when it comes time for your surgery we are all there as little angels all around you bringing nothing but good things your way. All you have to do is call out and we are there with you.

Don't worry Kim, you'll be just fine! You're in good hands from what I hear. Of course it's still normal to be nervous. As for me, I wasn't really that anxious. Honestly, I was more worried about getting an IV. They ended up numbing it anyway, so it was alright in the end. Good luck! See ya on the Loser's Bench!
