Welcome to the board. You could say that I'm one of Dr. Gupta's on-going projects. lol. It'll be 4 years pretty soon for me and I think even more of Dr. Gupta now as I did when I was in the same position of my journey as you are right now. She's not going to baby you but tell you straight-up how things are. I respect that.

Feel free to ask questions and become involved here. Fair warning...we love to get to know each other...in person as well as on here.

Tammy welcome and congrats on your first steps toward your journey.  I am always so excited to see someone else joining us in the best experience I have had since giving birth to my kids.  This is something you will never regret and always be glad you did.

Everyone has already told you that we love getting to know each other and we share so much on this board.  We are here for you thru good times and bumpy roads.  I have found that the group here is my first source when I have a question, comment, or even a silly wow moment.

You'll be glad you joined us here.  Dr. Gupta has done surgery on me, and two of my sisters.  We consider her like family.

Hi, Tammy!

Congratulations on your decision to pursue WLS.   Right now I am in the process of getting insurance approval and have committed to Dr. Gupta being my surgeonl.  In the intial consult she was straightforward, honest and took time we needed to have all our questions answered.  I'm definitely looking forward to getting this show on the road!   There are many wonderful people here you can learn from for sure.   Welcome to the board!
