Update and a few prayers please

Well, the update first.......I passed one of the stones!!!  Talk about painful!  Anyway, thats one out of the way anyway.

Now for several prayers please.  It has come time to have everything turned off.  We have struggled as much as we can go keep our heads above water, but with no luck.  Our home phones will be turned off on Tuesday, and our cell phones will be turned back off on Saturday most likely.  Our power will be shut off next Friday, and there is nothing else I can do.  We have had every extension, assistance, and everything else possible come to us, but with no real help.  I even tried to sell my wedding rings this morning, but the guy at the pawn shop was only willing to give me $35 for 3 rings total!  Oh well, if I have nothing left but the clothes on my back, I will still have my rings.  I don't know where we will wind up, or how we will manage, but I will try my best to get to the library to get on the computer for just a few minutes to say a quick hello and update everything!  Just remember that I am always thinking of each of you, and that I love you guys so much.  After I get this posted, I will be disassembling the computer and try selling it as well.  I know someone that is willing to give me $50 for it anyway.  It is better than nothing.  It will pay for 1/2 tank of gas anyway.  Just take care, and remember that I love you guys!  I will be online again as soon as I get the chance!  Take care! LaChelle,  did you go to the township trustee?  They usually can help with utilities.  I am so sorry that you are going thru this.  I have been there before and I know how hard it is.  Just remember we love you too and stay in touch when you can.

Believe it or not you will be a stronger person after this and you will find a way through it all.

I called with the names of the trustees (along with other organizations, groups, churches, etc...)back when she was facing eviction. I do not know if they were able to help...I know that she had some success...just not with who. Unfortunately the trustees only help someone once a year and no more. Sucks but thats politics in these small towns!

Hey let me talk to my cousin she may know someone who can help. I wish I could but we are in the same boat. I can pray and will do that! The Lord works in mysterious ways you know! That is what my mother always said and he always came through for us when I was growing up. Can you come to the Sheilds park today at noon for some good food and fellowship? It is my family reunion and I know you would be welcome! I am in charge and it will be fine with me!LOL! I know that everyone in my family would love to meet you. I will then be going to my cousins to stay the night in French Lick. Won't be going home until Sunday evening or Monday morning so I would really like to get with you and see what we can do to help. If you can please come to the park there in Seymour it is on 6th and Broadway! Michelle

LaChelle, I'm praying that a solution appears to you quickly ... it is so sad that so many of us are in this boat. Sign of the times.

I have no idea is it will be read or if it would ever help, but I sent a direct email to our governor, asking if there was anything available to help in this case.   Maybe if he were to receive more inquiries, it might get to someone's desk.   It only takes a few minutes to do this; they DO require that you give your name, etc.   Here is the link, if anyone else wants to do so:
