Update!

I posted a few months ago asking questions about surgery, etc.  I was planning on waiting until Aug 1 when I got my new insurance to go forward with the process.  Well as it turns out, my new insurance has an exlusion too!  I wasn't a happy camper.  All factors considered I decided to do the lapband and to self pay.  I had a consult with the surgeon on Wednesday.  I go for preop testing next Friday and I am scheduled for 9/17.  Woohoo!   I am excited to be doing this and can't wait to change my life.  I'm sure I'm gonna need help dealing with losing my good friend (food), but I'm glad to k now that I can come here for support anytime.  I can't wait to be a hoosier loser!!!!

Sorry your insurance company has an exclusion. I'm glad that you're not giving up your battle with obesity and can't wait to see all of the exciting changes that take place for you with your tool. :)
