My gall bladder

WEll it is coming out this Tuesday. I am pretty glad because of the pain I deal with. Some days its bad some days its good. If I had to do WLS again I would have asked that it be removed. but I didn't so now faced with another surgery.

I do have to tell you that Inman did say I had a healthy gall bladder nothing pointed that it was going to cause problems. So even though you may have a healthy gall bladder it could still give you problems after surgery.

Robin,
Sorry to hear you are having problems. Gallbladders are no fun to deal with- I sure was glad when they took mine out- yrs. before my Bari surgery. Here's to better days ahead! I will be praying for you! My girlfriend had a healthy, spasmatic gallbladder, & they had to remove it, she is 100% better- so will you be!

Robin,

I know you will feel so much better once the gall bladder is out.  I know I did.  I do sympathize with you about the pain.  Will keep you in thought for a speedy recovery.

My surgeon said I had gallstones and it needed to come out but couldn't do it at time of bypass. Not sure what problems and pains, symptoms etc. are. Can anyone tell me?

With mine... a few hours after eatting I would have this awful pain in my chest that went thru to my back.. NOTHING would relieve the pain but a pain shot.. I threw up after awhile but the pain was indescribable.. THANK GOD it's gone!!

I had my Gallbladder out with my WLS, Dr. Inman said there was one HUGE stone in it!! I looked at my husband and said "THANK GOD .. THAT'S WHAT ALL THE PAIN I'VE BEEN EXPERIENCING WAS!! I THOUGHT I WAS CRAZY!!!" I have been having pains in my sides for 5 years and everybody thought I was crazy!! My side would spasm anytime. Regaredless of the WLS, I feel like a billion times better than before surgery!!!

Robin you will feel 100% better after this surgery! God speed on this journey!
